Chapter 66 - Escape Plan-3

Cyra was standing behind them like a ghost of the night. She was smiling mischievously looking at their group.

" So? Are you going to run away?" She asked again but they were too shocked to rsay anything.

" Miss Cyra...What are you doing here?" Julia said with a tight smile.

" Why not? I have been following you guys for quite sometime now. I know all about your plan to run away." She stared at Noah and gave him another smile.

Noah's body stiffed up, he never noticed her presence. He always felt she was nimble and fought with swiftness but it seems her speciality was geared toward assassination.

He cursed himself for not connecting the dots. Now he was debating whether he should knock her out or not.

" Hey, hey. I am only here to help." She raised her hand as she was too familiar with the glint in his eyes. He was sizing her up looking for any openings.

" Why?" He asked.

" I am also sceptical about the incident. If you were involved you would have never included the kids. I watched how diligently you trained and cared for them." She explained.

" Well, you are right. Are you sure you want to come with us? It would not be a easy mission. We could even lose our life." He warned her again.

" I am not afraid of death beside you could use my speciality. I will also take my brother with me. His ability would be useful in forest." Cyra suggested.

" Will he come with us? I mean wouldn't your master object?"

" He wouldn't know. We will write him a note to let him know we went away voluntarily. Anything else?" Cyra chuckled

When they met for the first time, she really hated him. Not only he defeated her but also injured Bijan. But she also witnessed his heroic act when he saved her taking the volley of arrow to protect her.

She had never seen her doing anything bad. His past might be mysterious but nothing he did make her suspicious. She had been keeping an eye on her from the shadows and knew how hard he worked with the children.

" No, just pack your shit. We will be leaving in thirty minutes." He commanded debating whether he should leave a note or not. He could envision how angry the dark goddess, Mera would be seeing him vanish in the middle of night.

" Minutes?" She tilted her head hearing the term for the first time.

" It's nothing. Just hurry if yiu want to follow me. You guys also sneak around to look for some foods that wouldn't spoil easily. Meanwhile, I will try to find a safe passage out of this place." He gave orders. The kids started moving but Cyra remained by his side.

" Did they always follow your every lead?" She asked.

" That's what a team does. They have to trust me to put my trust in them. Without it there would be no team."

" Is that something you learn in your hometown? Everyone says that you are not from this place."

" They are right. I am not from this place but that doesn't mean I don't know what happens in war. When the tough times comes, it's up to us to adjust. Think about it more carefully what it means to follow my lead." He only gave her another warning before disappearing into the night.

Cyra shook her head feeling his cold demeanor. She knew he still had doubts about her but she was really curious about him.

He had knowledge and expertise that she had never seen during her travels. She wanted to know more about his past and history.

She went inside and kicked Bijan to wake him up. He was about to yell but she firmly covered his mouth as he looked shocked after waking up in such a strange manner.

They were about the same age but she was few months older than him which meant ever since their teacher took them inder their wings, she acted like his big sister.

Such rough handling was a daily occurance especially when she needed something from him. It was ironic that only time she treated him roughly was when she wanted to have his way with him!

" What?!" He whispered seeing her glare at him.

" Pack your bags. We are going out for a walk."

" What the hell? when do we ever go on walks? You....you are planning something ominous again." He finally realised that cheeky smile on her face.

He dreaded that look because it meant they were going to take another beating from their lovely teacher because they were going to do something which would anger him immensely.

" I told you we are going out. Didn't you say you haven't had a chance to show your true abilities? I am taking yiu somewhere you can let loose without worrying about anything! Pack your things we have to leave or else master would suspect something. We all know he is quite a light sleeper!" She whispered but her words weren't making any sense.

Bija. knew he couldn't ignore her so he got up trying to leave his sleepiness behind. Cyra moved around their small little room gathering all the essentials for travel.

Before he knew it he was ready and heading out under the dim glow of morning toward the village's edge. He was dragging his feet afraid to ask her but soon he spotted few people in the distance.

They too were caring some luggage but their attire was completely different from anything he had ever seen before. Jet black clohtes shimmering in warm sunlight making them look haunting.

He finally noticed the large man standing in the middle. He knew him, he knew him too well as he was the one person who gave him defeat for the first time in his life!

Noah was standing there with folded arms tapping his fingers around his biceps waiting for them.
