Chapter 41 - Sunset.

About four or five minutes later, he held her hand. He was very healthy, his palm was thick and warm. The warmth coming from his palm surged to every corner of her body, making her face blush.

Sasha pushed a thin smile looking around. She was completely mesmerized by the view before her.

Several hills that were covered completely by tall trees, stood before her. The chirping of birds as they headed towards their homes, filled the air. The wind blew by, playing with the locks of her hair as the sun was setting on the horizon.

"It's…beautiful Ryan" Sasha spoke as she looked at the scenic view before her.

"Hmm...This is my favourite spot in the city. Whenever I am sad or have to decide my life, I come over here to think." Ryan said.

Sasha turned only to see a pair of grey eyes that were filled with complex emotions, looking at her.

In the next second, a glittering light flashed before her eyes, and she saw a bracelet.

He lifted Sasha's right hand, resting on her lap, then put on the bracelet with a focused and gentle expression.

"Thank you," She said.

Ryan raised his eyebrow and asked, "Why? You don't like it"

"No, I like it" Sasha shook her head.

Ryan moved his right hand towards her face and caressed her left cheek while looking into her eyes. He tucked the loose strands of her hair behind her ear and looked back into her eyes.

"Sasha?" He called her name softly.

"Hmm?" She hummed in reply.

His left hand moved towards her back and he pulled her gently towards him leaving no space between their bodies. Instinctively she put her hands on his chest.

He moved closer to her lips and started to trace small kisses from one corner of her lips to the other. He then started kissing her passionately which startled her a little. He kissed her as if his life depended on it, sucking on her luscious lips that were as soft as a marshmallow.

Sasha was getting dizzier with every passing second, her mind was numb now. The feeling of his lips over hers, his tongue grazing over hers, his hands that were holding her close to him, his masculine scent wafting up her nose.

Just as she thought she was going to faint, Ryan let go of her lips resting his forehead on hers.

"I like you, Sasha Jones."

Ryan spoke as he took deep breaths to calm himself down.

Patrick opened the door and saw Sean standing next to the window while speaking on the phone.

Not wanting to interrupt, he casually made his way over to the couch and began eating his lunch in silence.

Patrick waited until Sean had gotten off the phone before asking, "Boss, Our plan worked. You know! Anna Hart and the NEXT group, Richard had a dinner together."

Sean with a frosty expression retrieved his lunch.

"8 million!" Patrick exclaimed while showing him the footage he recorded.

As the video was recorded from behind Anna, all Sean could see was her slender back.

Richard would look up at Anna with an incredibly gentle gaze from time to time as he spoke.

As Patrick was sitting next to Sean, he could see Sean's expression turn gloomy with each passing second.

Noticing no response from Sean whatsoever, Patrick said, "Boss, We should press on her to move out quickly."

Sean cut him off by slamming his tightly clenched fist into the coffee table, breaking it into pieces on the spot.

"I will take care of that. Get out!"

It happened so quickly and suddenly that Patrick was left frozen in shock.

By the time Anna returned, Sean had been home ages Right then, he was reading a book in the living room.

"Where did you go that you only came back at this hour?" Sean queried mildly.

He closed the book in his hand and shifted his gaze to her.

"I had coffee with Jean" She replied after putting her handbag on the couch.

"I haven't had dinner. Fix something for me." Immediately he said that he turned around and went upstairs.

When he came downstairs in his pyjamas to have dinner with her, she had already come out of the kitchen with a pot of soup.

The big and heavy white sand pot must have pressed against her hand, making her look a little uncomfortable.

"If you can't carry it, it would be better if you don't take it out. It's not even necessary to serve it out. I can't drink a whole pot of soup," he said with a frown on his face and walked up to her and took the soup pot from her hands.

"Thank you. Mr Westley." Anna said.
