Ryan took a deep breath to calm himself down, "Then, what's his name?"
"Why would you want to know his name?" Sasha asked cautiously.
"Didn't you ask me to show some respect? How am I supposed to respect him if you don't tell me his name?!"
"Sean Wesley" Sasha replied slowly.
But all of a sudden, Ryan tossed out a question. "What's your relationship with him?"
Sasha paused for a while before she explained, "He is just my landlord. He's more of a brother figure to me. He had been treating me well throughout the years and I'm grateful towards him."
"Grateful? You have a lot of people to be grateful to."
This time, Sasha caught on and understood the meaning behind his words. Immediately Ryan pulled her back into his arms. She was forced to look at his face. A grin etched onto his jowl.
"Remember, stay away from men."
At his words, Sasha pushed him away with all her might. She stared at him and said, "You are a man too."
Ryan did not know what to say. He pursed his lips and smiled. He then pulled her back into his embrace. He wrapped his arms across her body, lowered his head and let out a smirk.
"Correction. Stay away from men. But it does not include your man, who is me."
Outsiders might think that Ryan was a lone wolf, a cool and collected person determined to achieve his goals no matter what.
But there was another side to him that very few people knew about.
Unreasonable? Thick-skinned?
And so many other qualities that she had yet to discover.
Sasha's phone lit up at that moment.
"Sis, I leave my ID in my room. I'll be in five minutes. See you!"
Sasha panicked as she did not have much time to get Ryan out of the house.
"You have to go now. Authur is going to be here soon."
"Okay. I will formally introduced to him toady." Ryan stood still and responded with a sly smirk.
"No! Please leave." Sasha pushed him on the shoulders, trying to get him out of the house.
Instead of pushing him away, Sasha was tugged at and fell right on his thighs. A blush warmed her cheeks instantly. She tried to get up but to no avail, as Ryan had wrapped his hand around the back of her neck.
He then pulled her face towards his and gave her a deep kiss. Sasha could only helplessly grunt and struggle in frustration. Austin was going to be here soon, and she was at her wits' end.
Even when Sasha decided to release her from his clutches, he still insisted on giving her several pecks on the lips and running his thumb all over them.
"Hey! You would get cold from me" Sasha was annoyed, but she did not have the time to argue with him anymore. "All right. Please go now, okay?"
Ryan remained calm and steady. The more he looked at the woman in panic mode, the more he realized how adorable she was. He could not help but grin.

When Anna woke up, she noticed that the skies were already bright and the birds were chirping loudly. She lifted the quilt and walked towards the bathroom to freshen up before heading downstairs. As she descended the stairs she noticed Bony cheerfully preparing breakfast.
"Bony, Did Mr Wesley leave early?'" Anna asked as she pulled out a chair and sat. down.
"Boss must have left extremely early this morning," Bony said.
"Did Mr Wesley say anything when he left this morning?" Anna asked uneasily as she stirred her porridge.
"Nothing!" Bony replied.
'Did they fight?' Bony thought when she noticed that Anna was in a bad mood.
Anna was met with a sudden downpour after leaving the office. A squall of driving rain hit her violently, and she was shivering in the cold. Then she took a glance outside, but there was no taxi at all.
She was startled by the sudden turn of events.
After a few steps, a loud and piercing honk sounded from behind. She paused when she saw the handsome face of Sean after the rear window was lowered.
"Get in," he said while looking at her.
It would be perfect for hitching a lift in this weather under normal circumstances, but Anna stood rooted to the ground and struggled to decide because she dared not get into Sean's car.
He pursed his lips and looked at her with a pair of menacing eyes.
After a moment of hesitation, she walked toward his car, "Thanks."
The car seat became wet because Anna was drenched, and her face blushed in embarrassment. So she tried her best to lean against the door and said, "Do you have a tissue?"
Sean took a clean handkerchief and tossed it at Anna.
"Thank you," Anna hurriedly took it and wiped the wet seat.
