Lucien had taken a seat across from his brother. He was positively beaming at him. The resemblance wasn't strong. It was barely there at all. But there was something small, something subtle about their expressions, or the way their features were shaped and how they moved as they spoke, that was enough to see something.
Such pleasantries and the small talk were exchanged for a while. Catch ups. The whole 'here's what you missed' and all that bullshit. Angel eventually excused himself. It was hard to say he was surprised when Joel somehow managed to follow him, shutting the kitchen door behind him so it was just the two of them.
