As I escaped from Hogwarts, I started to reflect on my experience and what had happened while I was there. One thing I realized was the importance of staying calm. When I didn't hear the first question, it threw me off and I panicked. This caused me to fumble on the other questions that I had prepared answers for. I also realized that my escape wasn't necessary as I was not in any real danger. The staff at Hogwarts had a strong sense of morality and would not harm or force a child.
As I walked on the trail road, I began to feel dizzy after walking for an hour. I decided to treat it as training and started running at my average speed. To put it into perspective, my average speed was faster than the average adult male's speed of 10-15mph. It was even faster than Usain Bolt's top speed of 27mph.
After my training in the forest, I could easily reach a speed of 40mph without breaking a sweat. This was an incredible improvement from my previous speed of 8mph. I was excited to test my sprinting speed.
I adjusted my position. And started deep breathing. Breathing deeply for around ten seconds. With the last deep breath, my muscles tightened and brought out their full power. At that exact time, I willed my legs to move.
Normally, it takes a while to reach your top speed. With me, it was almost instant. I accelerated to my max speed in less than half a second.
I was starting to feel the air breaking around me as I was going my max speed. My eyes started to hurt a little with the wind going against them. But I used a little trick I learned that works only on a smart part of my body. I simply concentrate my normal magic on the body part I want to be strengthened and it will simply be more strong and more durable.
I started to calculate my speed. To be honest, I didn't expect such a speed.
I reached a speed of around 50mph, but there were consequences to this speed. The flies in the air turned into sharp particles of glass as they hit my face and body, causing discomfort but not injury.
It felt like a small needle piercing my skin and then leaving a taste of pain lasting for a few seconds. Since it was everywhere on my body I couldn't use my magic to isolate the pain by strengthening the part of the body.
After sprinting for three minutes, my body became exhausted and I fell face-first to the ground. My legs were not trained to move at such a fast pace and it was difficult to control. My magic began healing my face as I stood up.
Overall, while I was capable of incredible speed, I needed to be careful not to overdo it as my body was not yet fully trained to handle it. I had gained a lot of power, but I needed to continue training to control and harness it properly.
And there are the results:
As I evaluated the results of my training, I realized that while I had gained incredible speed, I still needed to work on controlling my body and defenses at such high speeds. The fact that the flies turned into sharp glass when they hit my body highlighted my weaknesses in defense. I knew that I needed to find a way to improve my defenses without constantly exposing myself to injury.
I thought about seeking out the magical community in London to find solutions, such as dark rituals or magic that could help me improve my defense. I was aware that I needed to fix my defense as soon as possible, it was a necessary step in my journey to become a stronger wizard.
I couldn't help but feel frustrated at the fact that everything I wanted currently required me to contact the magical community. But I knew that I could still try to control my legs to be able to better control my running and avoid falling every few minutes.
As I sat on a small grass hill near the train road, I watched the sunset and thought about my future. I wondered what would happen to me and my friend Slyde. It was a little depressing thinking about it like this, but the expectation of learning new uses of magic and spells was even more exciting.
Slyde told me that my dark magic is a little unusual a few hours ago while I was running. He said that other wizards have dark magic and normal magic as a single entity that only has differences in the spells that are being used.
That means that if a normal wizard uses dark magic. They are not using pure dark magic like me, but are using the spell itself to transform their normal magic into a dark one.
'I honestly think that my dark magic should be from the void itself. Maybe the thing that was seeping into me while I was there was pure dark magic. As I can strengthen my dark magic by killing and others can't. That may be one of the characteristics of void dark magic.
I should research that one I am in London.
I knew some kinds of spells using dark magic, such as "Spirit weakening", which was a simple magic that would make the target a little more irritated and impatient. It was quite useful in some scenarios, but I knew that I needed to be careful with its use as it could make someone mentally unstable and change their mood easily for around an hour or so. Mainly depending on the intelligence of the target.
But if the opponent has a good defense I can use this magic to force them to attack and they would then show their vulnerabilities. It's in the end magic I am happy to have. The way I created this magic was by releasing a small amount of my dark magic and then willing it to make my target dumb. It took a long time but I finally managed to create this spell after many failures.
With every failure, I had to change my thoughts and steps a little. But I still don't understand why it works. I should also learn some spell making as this was a pure coincidence I was able to somehow figure out how to create this spell.
As I fell asleep, I knew that tomorrow was a new day and I would continue to train my control and physique. I woke up the next morning, feeling refreshed and ready to continue my journey. I climbed back on the railroad and continued training, always hunting before sunset to have enough food for another day.
But one day, as I was resting on the railroad, I heard a sound like steam rapidly escaping from something. Suddenly, a train emerged like lightning, with its majestic red and black colors. The steam was escaping from the top of it. It looked exactly like the train in the film series!
I swear even heard some students laughing.
My first reaction was to jump off the trail road onto some grassland near me. But with the timing of the train, there was no grass to jump near! If I wanted to jump from the trail road anyway I would probably die. There were only stones under the train road.
That wouldn't be so bad if I wasn't 40 meters above them!
As there was no chance to jump off the trail road. I had to run!
I immediately turned around and started to sprint completely focusing on my speed and control!
The train was moving at around 100mph! There was no way I could outrun it. The only thing that was for me to do was to run until I found an acceptable place to jump off.
After sprinting for a while I was happy with myself. Why? Because my control significantly improved! I no longer felt that I would fall every moment of sprinting. If this happened before my control training even started I would probably be already under the train shouting for my mom.
As I neared the corner I finally saw an acceptable spot to jump off. The nearest place I could jump to from that spot was around 15 meters below me.
As the spot was around 100 meters before me, the train that was always behind me was suddenly almost a few meters behind me! At the time I realized it was already too late. The only thing I could do was to activate all my magic inside me including the dark magic hoping that it would somehow protect me from dying....
