He was shocked when suddenly she opened her eyes that too all powerful and cold looking, like she was revived from dead rather than a mere sleeping.
"You are awake" He said softly immediately after getting over his shock, who knew she had such dramatic way of waking up almost made his heart move out of the ribcage.
It was like he was watching a horror movie with a short suspension and quietness before a zombie popped out of nowhere.
" I'm late!" Night said hoarsely as she check the clock on the table beside her bed and immediately got up from the bed.
It was almost noon time surely fly quickly she thought but then something came to her mind immediately her hand moved to touch his forehead and right then a light smile appeared on her lips.
That was like a huge blow to him, something he never knew would affect him that much but wierdly it did.
Not just the softness of her hand on his forehead but the light smile on her face and he means the genuine one and the rare one to see.
Most of the time it was either smirking, a sly smile or an evil one had always been lingering on her pretty face but this....
Was a rare sight to see for a moment there his eyes stuck on her pretty face as if storing it, a precious memory to safekeep.
" You are good now" Night said with a relief and seem proud not after taking care of him for the whole night.
" Were you worried about me?" Gold couldn't help asking after seeing her genuine relief over seeing him feeling better.
He could still remember her worried face as she helped him sit down last night it was very genuine and warm in fact nobody had ever treated him that way before not even his own mother.
Not his family not his parents and not his servants, they all seem to think he was all tough and capable of taking care of himself.
However what Night did made him feel otherwise he was not as tough as he take himself to be in fact he needed someone to take care of him as well, somebody who would get worried when something happens to him and help him out when necessary.
But again why was she nice to him despite all the walls between them, in fact until last night there was a strict rule of not to touch each other so why?he thought inwardly but before he could speculate anything further than what was there all his hopes and made assumptions got crushed by her few words.
" Of course I was worried less I be accused of poisoning you....ah how stressful" Night said nonchalantly as she got up from the bed leaving the man dumbfounded
" Huh!...so that's why?" Gold mumbled quietly as a dejected chuckle left his mouth.
He was thinking too much after all indeed that was so like Night how could it be any other reasons.
Yet again he was disappointed mostly with himself for thinking too much into unnecessary things.
Some things may never be able to be fulfilled between them no matter how much he looks into them or hope for,
it was complicated!.
