Chapter 4 - Fortuna School

"Welcome, wizarding students at Fortuna school," greeted Ms. Bells.

"Follow me, leave your belongings to Mr. Ignis, who happened to be here," said Ms. Bell.

Mr. Ignis to apprentice wizards including Poppy and Inna. The students handed over their luggage to Mr. Ignis. They all looked amazed to see Mr. Ignis except Poppy and Inna.

They entered the front yard of the school which was very large with a green grass field that made this school look perfect.

They walked on a path made of small stones, then they arrived at a building that was quite grand–that building was the school's main hall.

With enthusiasm, they wanted to go inside as soon as they entered they were immediately greeted by their teachers.

"Welcome," greeted the teachers who were there with cheerful faces.

They then proceeded to a closed hall which was larger than the previous hall, where they were all greeted by their senior wizard students who were seated. Ms. Bell asked the new students to stand in front of an altar in front.

After everyone had gathered, the headmaster entered the room and stood on the second floor above the altar. The principal is the Witch Mother who once came to Ivy's house to stop Shadow,

"Welcome new wizard students, I am Madam Fortuna the principal here welcome you as our new family members. Before you start studying you will be chosen by five owls who will determine which dormitory you enter," said Madam.

After that, five owls appeared with different colors ranging from white, brown, gray, black, and also blue. The owls immediately landed on the altar with a perch.

Ms. Bell will say their names sequentially if called directly forward to the front of the altar so they can be selected by the owl.

"Terry Merry," called Ms. Bells.

Merry is a very elegant girl but she is very arrogant. She has straight hair that is rolled up on her head. The owls talked they put Merry in a high-class hostel called Full Moon.

"Next, Poppy Thorn."

"Uh, an extraordinary child but can't defend himself, you enter the crescent moon," said the white owl.

The students who heard Poppy could not defend themselves laughed at him except for the seniors from his dormitory who welcomed Poppy with open arms. Continued Ms. Bell in calling other students until it came to Inna's turn,

"Kids who can defend themselves but," doubted the black owl.

"She can't use her abilities and also her magic seems unstable," continued the blue and black owl.

"But if properly developed it can surpass us all, plus it..." whispered the gray owl to another owl.

The owls looked surprised and some of them even flapped their wings. The white owl asks the other owls to agree to move Inna to Full Moon but...

"Inna you entered Fu—"

"Crescent moon," interrupted Madam.

The crescent moon seniors immediately applauded as did the other seniors. Merry looked annoyed because she couldn't share a full-moon dorm with Ivy.

After the selection was over they ate in the hall, the food served came from behind a long tablecloth in front of their dormitory seniors.

They all sat on a long chair and ate the food that was on the table, all of them ate voraciously without Inna because she seemed to be being watched by 3 people. One of the white owls perched on Inna's right shoulder and asked,

"Why aren't you eating?"

"I will eat," said Inna.

"You haven't changed." The white owl flew and landed on Madam's left shoulder.

Madam Fortuna called Mr. Ignis and then invited him to go to the principal's room. There Madam Fortuna wants Mr. Ignis to carry out her plan, which is to take the moon symbol or sign on the back of Inna's neck before it's too late.

"If we take it now we don't know what happened to Inna and even worse Shadow could come here,"

"If not taken now when else? I just want to prevent bad things from happening and I promised her."

"We just have to wait for Madam Fortuna to find out if the moon on the back of her neck can summon Shadows or not."

Madam Fortuna sat in her chair and opened a locked drawer. When opened there is a diary of someone who has been kept for years.

When Mr. Ignis asks Madam Fortuna about the diary to keep it a secret to keep the promise she made to the diary's author.

In a closed hall...

Poppy and Inna were directed by a young woman with one hair in a ponytail named Lecci, the three of them went to their room.

Lecci told Poppy not to make trouble for the dog in the dormitory and not to let the dog defecate in the open.

Poppy just nodded while hugging Puppy in front of her chest, they passed through a circular wooden staircase and then came to a wooden door that said 'Inna and Poppy' Lecci left them before leaving she ordered them to go to the backyard for their first lesson.

"New room, quite big, even the beds are separated, one on the left and one on the right, which one do you choose?" asked Poppy while putting Puppy down.

"I'm on the left only," Inna replied.

As they put their things away, their stuff had been brought up by their seniors so they just put their things where they wanted. After putting down their things, they changed into the witch clothes they bought or chose for themselves,

Poppy's witch dress was similar to a ball gown but had the size and short sleeves and was dark red she wore long black shoes and sharp spikes on the sides of her dress.

After changing their clothes they were both ready to go to the backyard leaving Puppy in their room but when they opened the door there was a winged dragon creature, it had no legs because its body was a snake,

"Answer my riddle or die to sand!"
