They were both silent with scared faces as well as Puppy hiding under Poppy's bed. 'She has dragon wings but She's not a dragon, she doesn't have legs, and her hair is black'
Inna remembered the piece of paper she had found in the bookstore she also remembered her uncle's advice to be able to solve the riddle correctly so as not to turn it into the sand.
"Answer my question properly!" said Ms. Gibril.
"But we have to go to the backyard, sorry," said Poppy.
"If we run or resist we will become sand," whispered Inna in Poppy's left ear.
Suddenly Poppy was surprised that in the end the two of them had no other choice but to solve the puzzle quickly without any mistakes so they could get to the backyard on time.
"The first question, I am a mountain but landless, I am a sea without water, I am also a beach but not sandy. Who am I?"
They were both suddenly surprised by her very difficult question, Poppy held her head in deep thought and so did Inna who imagined mountains, seas, and beaches that had no land or sand and no water.
Poppy was about to answer perfunctorily because she wanted to go to the backyard right away plus she was afraid of Ms. Gibril who looks like a medusa but has dragon wings. Inna kept thinking and accidentally nudged Poppy who was beside her.
Suddenly Poppy was shocked and dropped a piece of paper that was on the table near the entrance. Inna apologized and saw a piece of paper with a picture of a mountain view on it. When asked about the picture, Poppy answered that she likes drawing and painting.
"I know the answer! The answer is a map," Inna looked at Ms. Gibril.
"The reason?"
"On the map there are mountains but no land, on the map there are also oceans but no water, and finally the beach on the map looks like there are beaches but not sandy because that's the answer is a map,"
Ms. Gibril nodded her head indicating the answer was correct. They both high-fived and immediately went to the backyard but Ms. Gibril blocked them at the entrance or exit of the room.
Ms. Gibril said if they could answer the 3 riddles then they could pass, with a worried expression on their faces because they were afraid they would be late they continued their puzzles,
"I have friends but we are different, we can't see each other except once every 30 years or even more, I live in the dark with my little friend who accompanies me when I'm in the dark, am I?"
They both went back to thinking, Poppy went around the room to find a dark place while repeating her riddle while Inna looked around for clues to this riddle.
Poppy looked under her bed and found Puppy who was scared. Poppy pulled Puppy out and hugged him to calm him down and then put him on her bed. Shortly after that Poppy immediately knew the answer but she discussed it with Inna first.
"Inna, maybe the answer is spiders. Spiders like to be in dark places and their little friends are dust," whispered Poppy.
"Then what is it that only meets once every 30 years or even more?"
"Maybe his girlfriend was kidnapped and kept coming back after 30 years,"
"There's no way the answer is like that." Inna wasn't sure about Poppy's answer so she looked out her bedroom window.
There they looked around and then stared at the sun that was starting to rise, indicating that it would be noon soon, which also indicated that they would be late if they didn't finish the puzzle soon.
Poppy, who was still a little panicked, calmed down and looked for a dark place again. Poppy accidentally dropped one of the round mirrors on Inna's study table. Poppy immediately took it and put it back but just as she was about to put it down she saw the sun's reflection in the mirror.
Poppy looked at the sun and then found the answer to the riddle, she discussed it again with Inna after that Inna felt very sure that was the answer. Poppy approached Ms. Gibril then glared fiercely at her,
"The answer is the Moon. The moon has a friend, the sun, but they can't see each other except once every 30 years or so when they meet only for a short time because when they meet, a solar eclipse occurs.
While waiting to meet again, the Moon lives in the dark or at night with her little friend, the stars!" answered Poppy.
"Right, one more. I have dragon wings but I'm not a dragon, I don't have legs, and my hair is black, who am I?"
"The answer is you, Ms. Gibril!" Inna insisted.
After answering that Ms. Gibril became behaving strangely. Her hands seemed to tear her face plus her body was writhing. Not long after, she immediately showed her hideous face like half a snake right in front of Inna's eyes.
Poppy pushed Ms. Gibril fell to the floor—then she pulled Inna and the two of them ran away from there. The two of them went down the stairs leading to the backyard but when they almost reached the 3rd floor.
Ms. Gibril suddenly appeared before them even though she had fallen on the floor in front of their room, the two of them immediately ran to find another way accompanied by Ms. Gibril who continues to give riddles.
The two of them continued to run up and then found a passage leading to another dormitory, the two of them entered the hall which was filled with snake pillars.
Ms. Gibril kept chasing them even though she destroyed the pillars with her body because the person didn't fit with her large size.
"The stairs are very long, if we go down we will surely be chased," said Inna.
"There is no other choice." Poppy removed the thorns from her rope-like dress.
She pinned it to one of the nearby pillars and they both held hands and jumped right before they were almost caught.
They both fell free followed by Ms. Gibril who was still chasing them by flying. As they almost reached the bottom floor the rope stretched making them both bounce up.
Poppy kicked Ms. Gibril to stay away from them, and not long after that, they landed safely. They both rushed away leaving the rope still tied to the pillar.
Ms. Gibril flew up and then took the rope she also rolled it up neatly with a happy smile she couldn't wait to see the two of them again. Elsewhere, Inna and Poppy kept running and reached the school's backyard just in time,
Lecci approached them and asked what happened. After being told in a breathless voice, Lecci could only pat the two of them on the shoulder and then invited them to gather together with the others before the teacher came,
"The teacher has arrived," said a man who was the head of the crescent moon dormitory.
Inna and Poppy who saw who their teacher was immediately fell on the ground with laughing faces but watery eyes.
"Good morning, let's start the lesson," said Ms. Gibril with a smirk.
