Chapter 9 - Library 2

The four of them walked out cautiously as Alvin looked at the compass to see where the flowers were.

"Stop," whispered Alvin.

One of the flowers headed towards them. Silya took out her magic wand to fight the rose, but the rose just passed them by.

"He passed? But I don't think he passed us," whispered Poppy.

"You're right, Alvin there must be something wrong," continued Inna.

"He passed us but he was up in the ceiling of the library." Alvin looked up.

Sure enough, many flowers were approaching them but none of them were visible even though they were very close.

They continued walking slowly when they heard a shelf fall and two people were running.

The flowers that were above them moved away from them chasing the two people who were running.

Thinking that the two people were their friends, Alvin rushed there which made his whereabouts also known.

Silya used freeze magic which immediately froze the flowers that were chasing Alvin.

The three of them chased after Alvin and as it was so dark they accidentally bumped into a large bookshelf that led to the second floor.

"You're all right," Poppy said, standing up.

"Ah, yes," replied Inna and Silya while standing up too.

"Silya, you said you ran from the second floor to the first floor, which way? The stairs leading to the second floor are blocked," Poppy suspected.

"I jumped," answered Silya.

Brak...

The sound of something unpleasant was heard, they used a shifting spell but the shelf didn't budge at all.

The uncomfortable sound continued to sound until it finally started approaching them. The lights suddenly came back on and the uncomfortable sound came from Alvin, Rec, and Cain who kept bumping into bookshelves because it was dark.

"You guys are freaking us out!" Poppy said angrily.

"Sorry, the problem doesn't look like it can't be helped," said Rec as he fell on the floor.

Riiiick...

The large bookshelf blocking the second floor suddenly shifted to make way for the second floor.

Before they left Alvin went to see One to ask what happened to the library earlier.

But One appeared suddenly behind Alvin making Alvin surprised half to death.

"Don't... Don't show up all of a sudden! We were chased by something terrible so don't surprise us." Alvin sighed.

"Sorry, sorry, you have to go to the 2nd floor to be able to print or make your cards, of course, there are guards beside us who will do anything to kill you, magicians," One threatened.

"So, we just need to make our cards and get rid of this terror?" he asked.

"2nd-floor good luck." One left them.

They had no other choice but to go get a library card to be safe from the terrifying creature.

Alvin asked Silya to guide them to the second floor because she had been there.

Silya happily escorted them to the second floor but she didn't know where the card printing room was.

They don't mind it then they go to the 2nd floor there are still lots of books and bookshelves that fill the 2nd floor.

They vigilantly searched for the room they were looking for and Rec accidentally nudged a golden flower pot that was close to the pillar to the left of the stairs they were climbing.

Luckily it didn't fall but Rec accidentally looked into the pot of gold. Within it were red eyes glowing within the darkness.

Suddenly Rec was shocked and dropped the pot and suddenly a black ghost-like shadow with glowing red eyes appeared.

Instantly the library lights went out but this time it was a little different, the lights in the library flickered adding to the tense and scary atmosphere.

When the light flashes the ghost disappears when it flashes again the ghost appears in large numbers.

"RUN!" shouted Cain.

They all scattered, Inna and Poppy ran into a door on the left side near a green bookshelf.

However, it's a shame that the ghosts can pinpoint their location easily and can penetrate walls and doors to make it easier for them to catch them.

"AAAH!" Inna and Poppy immediately left the room and looked for the room where the cards were printed.

bruh!

Inadvertently the two of them collided with 2 other friends named Luna who had dark blue hair with her hair left loose and Weasley or who is usually called Ley who had black hair with a slightly disheveled model because he was a boy.

"Are you all right?" she asked.

"This is not the time to chat we have to go!" Inna pulled them to their feet.

The four of them are surrounded, Luna uses vanishing magic on the four of them but unfortunately, the ghost can still see them.

Ley used bright light magic on them and it worked fine the ghosts started to stay away from them.

The four of them compactly use the same magic except for Luna who can't use light-type magic.

"This is it," said Luna.

They rushed away from there and heard voices from far away. Alvin, Rec, and Cain were with other friends.

Their friends were rescued but their plight did not change. Poppy called Alvin and then told them all to use light magic except those who couldn't use it like Luna.

"Bright light!" they all used light magic desperately but the ghosts didn't disappear at all they just backed off.

Not long after, the library lights went out again making their bright light visible. The flowers looked at the light and then chased after them.

The situation got worse, they all immediately ran until some of them fell to the 1st floor.

Having no other choice, they decided to go to the 1st floor to return to the shortcut.

"Everyone jump from here we will hold them and make sure they don't crash into the bookshelves," Alvin ordered while using his fire magic.

"Quickly jump here!" Rec and Cain direct them.

Inna and Poppy help Alvin hold them off with various magics. Silya also helped him make the snow below so they wouldn't get hurt when they landed.

"Everyone was dismounted and running towards the shortcut," reported Rec.

"But how did they know?" she asked.

"When me, Rec, and Cain hit a lot of bookshelves I left lots of flyers that said 'This way'." Alvin backed away slowly.

Inna seemed impressed by Alvin's actions but they had to leave immediately as the number of flowers and ghosts increased.

They all immediately jumped and ran following the paper flyers that Alvin had prepared.

"Why not open?" asked Alvin when he arrived at the shortcut door with the others.

"Sharp vines are blocking the path, we have used fire magic to burn it but it has no effect," said one of them.

They were trying to get rid of the roots, but the ghosts and flowers had caught up with them. With frightened faces, they thought that this was their last life.

BRAK!

The blocked door opened and the creature that had been chasing them appeared.

"DO NOT DISTURB MY STUDENTS!"
