Sean didn't want Diana to know the secret inside his container, so he stopped and stepped forward to ask.
"Diana, what's wrong? Weren't you happy when you found all those gemstones just now?"
"Fake! They're all fake!" Diana said angrily, "Those gems are man-made, specifically for sewing buttons onto cheap clothes! I've been duped!"
She had lost several thousand dollars on this deal, so of course she was angry!
Sean asked in surprise:
"Fake? How could that be? Some of them looked like rough stones."
"That's why I thought they were real. But the gemstone appraisal expert said they were intentionally made to look like that. I lost so much because of it!"
Seeing that the second container's auction had already started, Diana quickly changed the topic and asked:
"Sean, did you bid on this container?"
Sean nodded and said with a bitter smile:
"Yes! I couldn't compete with you guys, so I had to settle for a cheaper container and see if I could find any hidden treasures."
