When Sean returned to Susan's house, it was already dark.
Entering the house, Sean instinctively locked the door behind him, and Susan was watching television in the living room.
Seeing Sean come in, Susan enthusiastically asked:
"Sean, have you eaten?"
"I've eaten," Sean replied with a smile. "Mrs. Susan, I'm going to rest first."
"Alright then." Susan originally planned to chat with Sean because she knew that Linda's father was prejudiced against Chinese people. She wanted to talk to Sean about it.
In Susan's eyes, Sean was down-to-earth, hardworking, and able to make money without any bad addictions. He seemed to be a good choice.
Moreover, her daughter Linda was also quite interested in Sean.
Sean went upstairs, washed up briefly, and lay on the bed, intending to plan his money-making strategy for tomorrow and beyond.
