Angela looked at the bags with a calm expression, but Sean could tell she was actually quite excited.
"These are all good bags," Angela said the obvious and, realizing her mistake, quickly added,
"I think, if we price each bag at 500 US dollars, my offer would be 30,000 dollars. How about that?"
"Not good enough," Sean replied with a faint smile. Having been taken advantage of twice, he had to learn to be more cunning.
These bags could sell for at least 1,500 dollars each if they had proper documentation!
However, since they were retrieved from a container, the bags had only serial numbers. For Angela to sell them legally, she would have to put in some effort.
But no matter what, the price wouldn't go lower than 1,200 dollars.
So Sean directly said,
"One thousand dollars per bag."
"Six hundred dollars," Angela thought Sean would haggle, so she added a hundred.
"One thousand dollars."
"Eight hundred dollars!" Angela gritted her teeth, adding another two hundred.
