/"No. It's okay. He'll be safer here./" And while I did want to bring him with me, knowing that he would be the comfort blanket I needed if my odd little feelings got too much, I knew that he would have only drawn too much attention. Most people were not accustomed to seeing a teenage boy running around with a stuffed animal. I didn't want to embarrass Blake in any way.
I also had no idea where we were going. I had asked Blake over text last night, but he had said that I would see today.
/"Your choice, Odd One. You got everything you need?/"
I had. I had checked at least seven times, but his words influenced me to check once more, patting down my pockets. My phone was there, keys, wallet, and even my emergency plasters. I still felt like I was forgetting something, but then again, my head had fogged up so much since opening the door that the thing I was missing was probably only my own brain.
