The flames inside Alishka rekindled as screams sounded from other dormitories, sounding distant yet sufforcating. Like dementors were trying to suck out it's soul.
They felt empty inside.
They desired to fill that emptyness. A need to eat, and so they did.
Alishka's eyes flashed a pale yellow as they layed their veiw on the girl before them. Her long black hair had fallen over her face during the quaking and she brushed it away from her mouth. Her thin eyebrows were woven with worry and alert, as she glanced around the room. The quaking had stopped only a few seconds ago, it didn't last long.
Kore looked back at her friend infront of her who had gone quiet. She was startled to find glowing yellow eye's dazedly looking back at her. "Alishka..., y-your eyes..."
Seeing the hazy pained look of Alishka they voiced their concern. "Your eyes, they're glowing yellow. You don't even have yellow eyes."
Alishka clenched their jaw, trying to force down the feeling of hunger yet it just wouldn't die down. It had, infact, gotten worst and so they acted on it. Panting, they lunged forward and bit the girls arm, drawing blood.
The metalic smell of it stimulated them even more and before they knew it, the girl was all eaten up. Nothing left but an illegible corpse.
Alishka sat in their friends blood in silence. Soon it dawned on them what they had done and a lonely tear ran down their face, dropping into the crimson liquid.
They had subdued the pain, but was it really worth it?

Thud~
Alishka jumped infront of Wen and kicked down the door before grabbing the young man around the waste. It was extremely easy for Alishka because after all, they had gone through the mutations of a monster and ended up physically stronger and taller.
They ran down the hall followed by L who had Ethan in tow. With every bit of distance they made, though, it seemed as if the unknown entity was already behind them. Ethan, who was being carried by L, was the first one to witness the horrifying scene and let out a gasp.
The creature that was chasing them was quite a skinny thing and a shadow covered it's face yet glowing yellow eyes stood out under it. Despite it being skinny, it took up a whole hallway with it's thin rickety arms.
With each arm the multi-armed creature pulled infront of it's large figure, the biulding quaked and sent cracks through the floor, showing just how large the creature really was despite the frail appearance. The arms were so long, like elastic, they could shoot out and grab the group if wanted.
The cracks in the floor ran ahead of the group. The creature thudded behind them clumsily as if it didn't know how to distribute it's body weight with the several arms it contained.
"Fu*k!" L cursed as he tripped on the cracks that grew their way through the asylums concrete floor.
"L..." Ethan let out through a strained voice. With every step they didn't take, the creature on their tail just got closer.
Ethan's eyes danced anxiously between the monster and L's face as the man tried to remove his foot from the floor and he sucked in a cold breath. His heart beat was on time with the shaking of the biulding that sounded as if it was about to collapse any moment.
Ethan heard running from behind him and whipped his head around to see Wen running back towards them with the other mangled looking monster chasing after him. 'Why did he come back? He should have kept running and saved himself.' Ethan shook his head.
He could hear L lecturing Wen for running towards danger but his words were cut off when Wen suddenly ran behind L's venerable back and stopped a sudden attack from the monsters shot out arm.
The impact was to powerful and Wen almost lost his balance as he shifted his foot behind him to distribute the extra pushing weight. "Get your foot out quick." His voice sounded strained, as if he was in pain.
"You fu*king idiot." L pulled his foot out. "You're already injured there was no need to risk yourself!"
Wen shoved the monsters snake-textured arm to the side and continued to run, grabbing L's free hand before returning to Alishka who had stopped running towards Wen when they saw the way he stopped the creatures attack.
"You didn't leave me when you saw me in the room alone, I'm not leaving you either."
Wen's determined voice rang inside L's ears and he felt a little bit of courage run through his veins. He was suprized that the man was able to return a kind gesture since Wen's past self would always be the first to leave someone behind.
He felt it was great improvement on the mans EQ which was pretty low to begin with.
He still felt the man was stupid because he was injured and risking his life to save someone. Shaking his head, L followed Wen and the creature into the staircase. The monster was so close and so they could finally get a breather when the stairwell door acted as a barrier, protecting them from sudden death.
"We still have to go, that will only hold it down for a while." The monster on their side spoke up, breaking the sounds of heavy panting in the room.
Two sets of eyes looked at Alishka in a harsh manner. It didn't take them long before they could figure out that they weren't well accepted in the group. 'Fine then, I wasn't here for you anyway.' Alishka faced away with a pout adorned on their face.
As long as Wen is safe. Their pale yellow eyes fell over the young mans figure as he poked at his revealed side from through the shirt.
Wen looked up, his honey brown eyes shining. His next words made the three around him face palm, "Kinda hurts."
