"Told ya, Nobody survived." Wen clapped his hands together as if bringing everything to a close.
Soon they went outside after packing a few bags, as per the doctors reccomendations. They were filled with food and a few weapons, just in case.
Wen watched Labcoat look around. The large box that descended from the sky was so large it looked almost like a collapsed building, towering over the 6 story asylum.
"Hey, what is that..." The doctor looked to where Wen was pointing after hearing his words. A deformed human figure was standing in the distance, watching them.
He shook his head. "Looks like another survivor but they don't seem in the best shape. Should we help them?"
"No. They are giving me creepy vibes." Wen tugged on the taller mans sleeve. The doctor looked at Wen's pale hand gripped onto his white coat. It reminded him so much of Ethan. Everything about Wen did, well, except his personality and the fact that he was deranged.
The doctor intertwined his fingers with Wen's subconciously. Luckily Wen seemed not to have noticed.
He might not have noticed that action, but he did notice the figure get closer. Despite the growing feelings of fear inside of himself, he spoke with an ominously detached voice, "The figure is coming closer..."
The tone of Wen's voice sent a shiver down the doctors spine. 'Why the heck does it sound like he wants us dead!?!'
The slow walking silhouette suddenly picked up speed. It was soon galloping towards them on all fours. Labcoat stepped back, startled, before grabbing the frozen Wen and running with him. "Wen, wake up and fu*king run please, we don't have time to be daydreaming!"
Wen was still dazed and slowing down them both, at this rate, they would be dead. Labcoat picked Wen up and slung him over his shoulder before he kept on running, reaching the glass doors of the asylum just as the figure slashed a peice of fabric off his white coat.
He fumbled with the keys before he was able to lock the bullet proof doors. The figures glowing yellow eye's peered at him from beyond the door, as it gave up its chase. It soon slunk into the darkness of the setting sun.
Labcoat sat there in a daze until a rough yet light voice reached his ear drums. "Nice as*."
His beating heart seemed to stop at this moment. "Could you choose any other moment?"
"Sorry..." Wen struggled. "Could you put me down though, The bloods all going to my brain."
"That's where you need it most." Dispite his words he still put Wen down on his feet. "Really though, what's wrong with you? Why did you freeze up?"
Wen shrugged and was about to walk away but the doctor gripped his shoulders. "Wen."
"Labcoat." Wen looked into the doctor's cool grey eyes. It was his first time actually analyzing the doctors face, he had thick eyebrows and dark eyelashes, the bottom half of his face was covered with a gas mask. He was handsome.
"You..." 'Labcoat' clenched his teeth. He couldn't even say anything so he just walked away, surrendering the non-competitive argument.
Wen followed him. He didn't know his way around the asylum, after all he was taken out of his room only during checkups and most of the time they were done in his own room. He witnessed the taller man open a closet and grab a fresh labcoat. The smell of lavander hit him. Tears sprung in Wen's eyes 'Man, that's strong!'
Blinking back the tears, Wen asked, "Can I have one, too? I wanna look like a doctor."
He posed at the end to give his words more impact but it shrunk into a droopy pose after hearing the doctors response. "No, you'll get it dirty. Plus the only thing you could look like in this is a mad homeless scientist."
Wen mocked his tone and walked away grumpliy, leaving a dumbfounded Labcoat. 'How childish.'
Labcoat followed Wen upstairs and found the man sitting in the corner of the room, curled up into a ball. He looked so vulnerable, like an abused animal. Guilt panged in his heart.
"Wen..."
Unresponsive.
"Wen, Im sorry. I won't bully you anymore." He saw Wen's nails digging into his skin. 'After all the insults I threw at him, he reacts badly to this one? Really?'
Labcoat pulled Wen's sharp nails out of his skin, having seen it draw blood, he then knew he had to cut Wen's nails. He stuffed a wrapped up piece of naan into his hands before walking off to get nail clippers.
"Wait..." He turned around to see Wen gripping the bottem of his lab coat. "Stay..."
"I have to get..."
"Stay."
The doctor went silent for a while before settling down next to Wen. Wen finally began to eat.
The whole time, the taller man was gazing at him. 'He looks so similar to Ethan but he is way to different personality wise.'
He shook his head, 'I shouldn't be having thoughts like this, it's not good for my mental health. I shouldn't use him as a replacement for him. It wouldn't be the same anyway.'
The grey eye's of the doctor's traced Wen's features. The eye shape, the straight but rounded at the end nose, the pink lips. 'So similar...'
"Am I that hot? Stop oogling, you pervert." The doctor felt his cheeks go pink and he turned his head away. He almost made a sassy comback but he stopped himself, he didn't want the mental patient to close himself off again.
