Labcoat didn't have any wipes to clean Wens hands nor did he have the ability to make Wen drop the chunk of neck he was holding. "Wen..."
The young man shook his head. He seemed tramatized by his actions. It confused the doctor but he brushed it off for now, raiding the dead womans home, I mean, she wouldn't need it sooo... why not, right? Soon they had 3 big bags full of food and some extra blankets and toiletries. He also found a sled which would help carry Ethan around as well as the goods.
As they were walking he glanced at Wen, he was walking far behind them and it didn't make L feel good. He wanted Wen where he could see him, the man was so silent that he was afraid he would be snatched at any moment and he would never notice.
"Wen come here."
Wen waddled forward in the teal coat that 'Labcoat' had given him. Ethan was wearing a yellow one while The doctor was wearing a fluffy brown trench coat. Of course he chose the best looking one for himself, such a vain man.

Labcoat' clocked the door and turned to Wen. He dragged Wen to the Lab and washed his hands. "It's been a long day, you should get some rest."

They both layed down in Wen's blank room. They couldn't sleep but nor could they do anything else, leaving them to marinate in silence.
"Wen... do you, Do you feel giulty?" L broke the silence first.
Wen's eyes wandered the room as if coming up with an answer. "No..."
"Did you... feel anything weird when you killed her?"
Wen winced at the mans bluntness and shifted uncomfortably on the hard cot. "Hm... It was in the spur of the moment though, I didn't really mean it... All I can say is that I don't feel giulty because she deserved it. She tried to harm us, so it's self defence."
The doctor nodded, he noticed Wen's attempts to justify his actions. Whatever the asylum did to him to make him seem more 'humane' was working. If not for that, the man doubted Wen would even think twice about why he killed the lady. "...Did you enjoy it?"
Wen stayed silent at this. He couldn't say yes or no. Not because he didn't know how he felt but because both options were true. He hated the fact that he ruthlessly killed someone, that he lost control. At the same time, he loved the feeling he got when he did, the adrenaline coursing through his veins, the pained look of the victim, the freedom in his bones. It all wasn't new to him either.
"Maybe..." He figured that if he voiced this out to the man who trusted him enough to sleep in the same room, he would distance himself, so he hid the truth. It was the first time someone treated him as if he was normal... or as normal as Wen could be.
The doctor frowned. He knew Wen was hiding the truth, he didn't know why but he didn't want to push and find out the wrong way. If you know what I mean.
The doctor ruffled Wen's hair with a light smile. "Cheer up, you're not in trouble I was just asking."
Wen nodded and closed his eyes. L watched Wen slowly loose consciousness. "..."

Ethan played with a stray string on his clothes as he watched L pace the room. Shaking his head, the taller man sat on the table with the small notepad he was writing things in. Something new was added onto the list.
▪︎Freezing temperatures (below 5-3°c)
"I feel like im missing something..."
"Earth, quake."
"Oh, right." The doctor nodded and wrote that down too.
Wen busted open the door. It seemed that the sleep had renewed his vigor because he had been bouncing around since he woke up, which was just now. "Hello Labcoat~, did you miss me? I've been looking for you everywhere!"
'Labcoat' mentally sighed. He didn't feel like dealing with energetic Wen today, he was trying to collect his details. Wen skipped over and plopped next to the man. "Whatcha doin?"
Wen didn't wait for an answer and found one himself. "Oh, you're missing information. Look, There was a strange fog that surrounded the cube and came out of it when it opened." Wen made wild gestures with his hands, as if he was trying to explain to the doctor in a way he could understand. As if he was a kid.
L nodded, he didn't notice this fact because he was in a lab with no windows, or atleast the windows were covered by thick curtains. He wrote this down too. "Anything else, Mr.Sherlock?"
Wen tapped his chin dramatically. "I don't know. There's alot we don't know actually."
"I know, that's why I went outside." L pulled out a plastic bag. "I took some DNA samples from the dead people we saw when we went out, I'll need one from you and Ethan, too... to see what makes us all different."
"Your gonna take my blood? Ew, vampire." Wen crinkled his upturned nose. If it wasn't for his shaggy short wolfcut, he would have came off as snobbish. Yet now, he just looked like a picky homeless person.
L pretened to bite at him, just to get a reaction but he didn't expect Wen's next words. "Taking the phrase 'bite me daddy' to new lengths, I see."
This thick-skinned man.
The doctor let out a short wheeze and couldn't help but let an amused smirk crawl his way up his facial features. He ignored Wen's statement but Wen already took satisfaction from seeing the man's slightly flustered face. L cleared his throat, "Anyway, It doesn't have to be blood. It can be saliva, but blood works best."
"You can take my saliva any day." Wen smirked evily, sticking his pink tounge out.
"I think I'll pass on that offer."
"Suit yourself." He said with a shrug.
