Ringggggggggggg.....
I was woken up by the sound of my alarm, in my phone.
I freaking hate it every time it happens. I woke up grumpily and made my bed. If I didn't, I would get an earful from mom early in the morning.
In the kitchen, I heated some water in the kettle and went to the rooftop with it.
I feel more awake than ever as the sun rays softly fall on my skin. While sipping my water, I looked at the plants my dad and I bought from a nearby nursery.
After finishing my water, I went to water the plants. It makes me feel joyful to see them grow up. I feel it is some kind of achievement.
I always find tranquillity here, because most of the plants are oxygen plants.
Mom and dad have already woken up. Mom cleaned the home entrance and drew a nice muggu.
Dad is performing the puja in the kitchen.
After a few minutes, I went to my room to get ready. I took a shower and wore a yellow kurta with black leggings. I applied sunscreen and some lipstick, and I'm good to go. Not only that, but I stuffed my bag with books and went to the hall to have my breakfast. Even if I don't have time, I can't miss my food. I just can't wait till lunch, my stomach would growl so much. Mom made upma today, and I'm not a big fan of it, but still ate it. I kissed my mom on the cheek and hurried to the bus stop.
After plugging in my earphones, I started listening to Loona, my favourite K-pop, and reading some webtoons. It's my new hobby these days, thanks to God, no one else is around. Usually there will be many people waiting for the bus here. Soon the bus came, and thankfully I got a seat to sit.
After 10 mins, I got off to get onto another bus. But my luck is not good at the moment, because this time the bus is packed with students. After a lot of pushing and pulling, I finally got on the bus. I didn't even have anything to hold onto for stability, and after enduring for a lifetime, I finally reached my destination, got off the bus and started walking to my college. It's just my sophomore year, and I'm already tired of college. Maybe it's because I don't have any friends to talk to or spend time with. Rather than being a bitch to myself, I should enjoy my free time more. I should plan a visit to Sweetie. It's been a month since I last visited her, it's almost time for the bell to ring and class to start.
My heart literally started to hurt after climbing all the stairs till the third floor. I panted as I made my way to my class. After I cooled down a bit, I entered the class and gave a bright smile to the girls of the class, said good morning and did the same to me. I put my bag aside and flopped in my seat. I started scrolling my phone after I relaxed a bit. Joshna sat beside me and kept her bag on the side.
"Sakhi, did you bring it?" She looked at me with a small smile
Confusion is written all over my face as I asked, "What are you talking about?"
"Don't tell me you forgot?" She's slowly becoming anxious
"I told you to bring the Xerox for the material before going home, right?"
Realisation hit me as I forgot to bring her the printout of the material, which I promised to joshna.
"Sorry Joshna, just wait. I'll just go and bring your printout."
"Sakhi, it's too late, ma'am will appear anytime now. It's okay, I'll just lose a point."
I know she's trying to make me feel better, but I can't do it.
"No problem, there's still time, I can make it just in time."
I quickly said and rushed out of the classroom and started running towards stationery for Xerox.
Almost ran out of breath by the time I reached the shop. But to my bad luck, there was a queue in front of the shop. Why does it have to be crowded today only?
I patiently waited and rushed when it was my turn.
As I already sent my mail to them, my work was finished quickly. I paid for the papers and again rushed to the college. Crap, it's already too late. Ma'am must be in the class right now. As I was in my dreams, I didn't realise and crashed into someone.
There is no doubt that God is testing my patience today. All my papers scattered on the pavement, and that person took his bag too.
I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry. Apologised repeatedly as I gave him his bag and started collecting my papers. While I was in a hurry, the boy helped me collect the rest of the papers. As I was in a rush, I didn't get to see his face. I quickly muttered a thank you and made my way to the class.
I was covered in sweat when I entered the class. And some boys are coming to the class now.
I sincerely wish I had such guts in me.
The professor gave me a bored look when I entered the class and allowed me in.
I gave the papers to Joshna and asked if Madam took the assignment already, not realising that I'm panting hard to breathe.
She grinned at me and informed me that Madam had just come due to an emergency and would be picking up the papers now
I sighed in relief as I melted in my seat.
I took my time to gather my thoughts and my entire body, and I started to feel bad for the person I had just slammed into.
By luck, the classes already started when I entered the college grounds. Or else I would be super embarrassed of people witnessing my crash.
I'm already feeling fatigue due to morning stunts, and didn't pay attention to the rest of the class.
The rest of the classes went smoothly, and I don't know why, but I'm starting to feel feverish. I don't know why? With that thought in my mind, I reached home.
Even after reaching home, there is some unknown anxiety that is making me restless.
To clear my mind, I went to the rooftop and called Sweetie and talked to her about at/
Sweety, I don't know, but I'm feeling restless,
Girl, that happens occasionally. Just refrain from thinking about anything; don't worry. Simply go to bed.
After talking to her a bit, my heart finally calmed down, and I slowly started gazing at the stars. They're so bright that my eyes are twinkling
With that, I returned to my room to sleep, but mom came to my room with a plate of noodles.
"Mom? What happened? Why did you bring this?"
"I noticed you didn't eat properly after lunch, so I made some noodles for you," she added as she gently stroked my hair.
"Mom, it's okay, I'm fine,"
"Mom knows when you're in trouble, it's okay to have it."
I love how mom knows if I'm in any trouble just by looking at my face.
I ate them a little and went to bed.
