After the introduction, Lucian joined the Mekaly's table, while Mrs Mekaly went to Lucian's table to chat with Hermia.

"Here, try this lobster, you'll love it."
Cherry was doing her best so Lucian could forgive her, even though she was dumb, she knew she had to apologise, cause back then, she was much more concerned about her drink.
Before she could place it on his plate, Lucian held her hand, before smiling at her.
"I don't eat aquatic animals."
Cherry took this to be some sick jokes, did he mean he was a vegetarian, but was that not roasted lamb on his plate, so why won't he eat aquatic animals, or was he allergic to aquatic animals.
"It's a joke right?"
She laughed it off, who was gonna believe that.
"I don't eat anything that lives in water."
She was beginning to take him serious when she realised he was no longer smiling.
She retracted her hand while apologising
"I'm sorry, I should have asked what you eat and don't eat."
Lucian didn't bother acknowledging her apology, he just kept eating. Not long after, Jiang joined them again.
"My apologies Mr Mekaly, I had to go settle some things."
"Oh no problem young master Jiang. Please have a seat."
He sat at his former position which was beside Cherry. The table had six chairs and was rectangular in shape. Lucian was sitting where Lola sat before, which was one of the ends, and sitting at his left hand side was Cherry, which gave her easy access to place food on his plate.
When Jiang saw their sitting position, jealousy ran through his blood. Who the hell was this guy who made Cherry blush so badly, her face was all red from excitement and embarrassment. Just who the hell was he and why was Cherry trying to please him.
He smiled as an idea strucked him.
"So young master Lucian."
He held his fork and knife, while cutting a piece of meat to put in his mouth.
Now Lucian was no longer with a smiling face, he knew just what Jiang wanted to do.
"Do away with the formalities, it's Lucian." he ended it with a smile.
"Lucian it is then," Jiang also smiled 'just you wait, thinking you can be all mysterious, you will go on sputtering every information about yourself' he thought to himself.
"Which family do you come from Lucian."
Lucian looked at him, smiled, and then
"No families, at least none that you know of, I am just a rich kid from selling off their properties."
"Oh" he almost felt bad for reminding him that he was an orphan.
"What of you?"
"What!" he was shocked, was he playing dumb or did he really not know him.
"I heard the Jiang Corporation is going through some struggles."
Jiang scoffed and could no longer hide his dislike for Lucian.
"And here I thought for a second that you didn't know me, since you know me, let's go back to what you just said." he dropped the cutleries and looked right at Lucian.
"What makes you think we are going through some struggles?"
Lucian let out a chuckle leaned into the chair before crossing his long legs.
"You stood up earlier, not because you were jealous of me,"
"Who the hell told you I was jealous." he was furious
"Do you have a problem with your ears."
Lucian used a tone of a boss speaking to their subordinate, and now, John saw a need to stop him.
"Do you know who you are speaking to, young man."
"No I don't, care to enlighten me."
Lucian was not a bit annoyed neither was he being respectful.
"Enough"
They all turned their attention to Jiang.
"Go on, what struggles are we facing?"
"I see you are curious. You got up cause you were called by your assistant, to speak with your father on phone."
Lucian gave him a mischievous smile before he continued "he called to tell you that your cousin, the one fighting for the position of the C. E. O. of Jiang Corporation alongside you, just embezzled the sum of ten billion dollars from the company's capital, and now, he is nowhere to be found." he placed his chin on his hands" need me going into details. "
" You demon, you, you will pay for this. "
He left there in a hurry to find out how Lucian knew about the call details.
Tom was surprised and was suddenly interested in Lucian and couldn't help asking how he knew.
" Now boy, that's my secret. "
John felt interested in him, but didn't he say he was not doing business, he was just a boy living off his parent's wealth.
They all ate in silence, when they were done, Lucian left with Hermia, while Cherry followed them, asking them to give her a lift.
