"Oh my! What are you doing?"
Hermia just got up from bed because she drank too much and didn't sleep early. The moment she woke up, she remembered that she had a visitor in her house. She took a quick shower before rushing out of her room to prepare breakfast for him.
But guess what, she was in for a shock. Not only was Lucian in the kitchen, he had also prepared breakfast.
"What does it seems like?"
He didn't bother turning to look at her as he was busy breaking some eggs into the frying pan.
A whistle was heard from the kettle
"What do you want to use the hot water for?"
She picked up two mugs before approaching the kettle.
"Make me a cup of hot chocolate."
Hmmp, all bossy
"Sure."
By the time they settled at the dinning table, Hermia was the first to break the silence.
"The bread taste nice."
"mmh."
What a cold boss.
"I had no idea you could cook." she sure wasn't going to give up, it's not like it's everyday one gets to have a casual talk with him.
"I CAN cook." he made sure to stress the word 'can'
"Now if you would please shut up, I need to eat."
Hermia wanted to be quiet, but it just wasn't possible, her boss had been acting strange since the day before and now, she had a chance to eat a very simple meal with him.
She picked up a slice of toasted bread from her plate, spread some jam on it, before taking a bite.
"It tastes really better with the jam."
She looked cute with a full mouth, but someone like Lucian would never notice that.
"You know, you are right. I wonder how sweet it will taste when it gets choked in your throat."
He gave her a smile and this was enough to make her cough for some while. She really did get choked in the throat.
And with a smile
"How sweet did that taste."

"Can I come in?"
"You are already in."
Lola went over to the bed and sat beside Cherry on the bed.
"Why did you close the door?"
"I have something to tell you."
Cherry shifted in her sitting position in order to face her mother. And she was pained to see that same sad face she saw that morning.
She held her mother's palms and squeezed it a little, in an attempt of consoling her.
"What is it mum?"
Her mother gave her a bitter smile.
"Can you do me a favour?"
"What is it mum?" Cherry was a little relaxed and a little tense, cause she had no idea what that favour would be.
"Well, I wanted to ask you if you......"
"Lola"
The room suddenly became silent, but that silence didn't last long, cause John opened the door and walked in.
"Honey, we have to leave now, I just received a call from his assistant, he called to ask if we were there. They are on their way honey, we have to get there before them, we can't keep them waiting."
Lola got up from the bed and gave Cherry a peck on her forehead.
" Take care of yourself girl. "
" You too mum. "
Lola walks past John who was standing beside the door. He could tell that he interrupted something,what were they doing or rather, what were they saying.
Cherry looked her her father with a look of 'how may I help you."
" What were you two...."
"Girl stuff."
"Oh, okay, we are leaving."
"Bye."
Cherry locked the door and returned to her room to get ready. After a long soak, she got dressed. She was feeling a little down, not having a friend to celebrate the moment with. She decided to call her best friend 'Lara' but it was not going through.
She mumbled some words to herself before picking up her bag and putting her phone in her back pocket. She opened a drawer, picked up a camera she bought just a day before their arrival at the Island, even though she knew next to nothing on how to use the camera. She picked up a jotter and a pen, putting it all in her backpack. She went to the wardrobe to take a blue scarf, placing it round her neck, she was all set.
She went around switching off the light bulbs, opening the door, a surprise awaited her.
"Were you planning to leave without me.?"
