Chapter 7 - Chapter 7

MING ZHU'S POV

What sort of man handles his wife to be the way this lunatic just did to me?

Well, I am not surprised at his attitude. He is not a man but a monster in human flesh.

From what I could gather about Alessandro from Bianca's memory, the man is a heartless man who cares about nobody but himself.

"I mean, imagine if I had fainted as he carried me," I blurted out loud unconsciously.

Realizing what I just did, I hurriedly placed my palms on my mouth like I could return the words back in.

"You can't faint. And even if you do, trust me, a bucket of iced water would do the trick," I heard his cold deep voice pierce into my ear drums.

I can't believe he would say that. This man has absolutely no compassion for his fellow humans let alone someone who is about to be his wife.

What a heartless person!

Now, I can tell why Bianca took the poison and killed herself.

Alessandro literally murdered her.

"Why not sell me off? I am just a slave with a wife title to you so I am sure you have no use for me anyway," I said with a smirk while looking out the window.

I don't know if I was the one speaking or if it was Bianca's soul speaking through me because what I said compromises with what I truly what.

Because, one thing I know for sure is the fact that I WANT TO LIVE.

Breaking my train of thoughts, Alessandro said to me while trailing my neck with his long pointed nose.

"Oh, believe me I do have a good use for you honey."

Disgusted by his act, I pushed him hard off me, and watched him roar in laughter.

Before I knew it, he gripped me by the neck, leaving me no chance to breathe.

"I own you now, flower. It would be best if you cooperate with me or else you want me to give you the death sentence you so wish for," he whispered gently into my ears.

With this, Alessandro placed a kiss on my lips before taking his hands off my neck. Thank goodness he did on time or else, I would have choked to death.

Winking at me, he rubbed his hand on my thigh and whispered to me, "That's my girl."

Straightening his suit, he rest his back on the seat and looked out the window beside him like nothing happened.

The ride was dry and silent as a grave yard until he received a phone call.

"Yes. Yes. Do you have him already? Great. I am on my way to Sicily already so make sure he doesn't escape," that was all I heard from his conversation before he hung up.

"Enzo. Step on it," I heard him say to the driver who nodded before increasing the speed at which he drive.

In about thirty minutes time, we got to the airport and alighted the car. I watched eyes peer at me and I wondered why.

It was until then I noticed I was still in the hospital uniform and had not changed stuff all.

I know those who stared at me must have been wondering if I was kidnapped since I was ben dragged my men in suits.

"Aren't you ashamed of how I am dressed?" I asked while he continued to drag me.

His grip was so tight that I felt my bones could break if I struggled with him.

"I don't care what you or anyone thinks flower. I don't beed snyone opinion. I do what I want," he said to me before carrying me in a bridal style into the private jet.

"Then I can just go around in this dress then. I know you also don't care if I look like I have just been kidnapped by you," I said with a sigh whike he placed me on the seat beside him.

"Enzo. Bring the cuffs," I heard him say.

"Cuffs? Cuffs for who and for what?" I asled woth a confused look as I watched his druver hand over to him a pair of handcuff.

"Now, you know who the handcuff is meant for," he said to me after cuffing my hands.

"Why are you cuffing me? It's not like I can just open the windows and jump off the jet," I mumbled with a sigh.

"You need flower. I underestimated you," he said, trailing his index finger down my temple.

Oh. How much I hate this man.

I am so unlucky. One time I am killed by my husband and sister and next, I happened to be sold off to a heartless Mafia.

"How more unlucky can I be?" I blurted out again with a frustrated sigh.

"Unlucky? You should be happy I decided to spare the whole of your family and not kill them to pay off the debt they owe," I heard him mutter before walking away.

I looked out the window and watched the mountains from below. I sighed countless times until I finally dozed off.

"Wake up!" I heard someone tap me on the shoulder.

I am sure it is the voice of that annoying man who has nothing else to do than step on my nerves.

"Leave me alone!" I mumbled in between my sleep until I felt something cold drop on my face.

Is it raining in the jet?

How can the jet leak rain?

I couldn't dwell on the thought more because the liquid was iced cold. On opening my eyes, I saw the son of a devil with a glass of cold water, ready to sprinkle more on my face.

"We are here," He said coldly before gripping my hands again.

I had just noticed he had unlocked the cuff and I wasn't free.

We got off the Jet and what I saw amazed me.

There were black expensive cars lined up at the jet terminal, already awaiting us. Then, I saw a familiar figure get off one of the car.

I remember Alessandro called him Luca.

I had seen him with Alessandro at the hospital the moment I regained consciousness this morning but how come he is here ahead of us.

"Do you have it all prepared?" Alessandro asked.

"Yes I do Don. You would be surprised at what I have found," Luca replied.
