MING ZHU'S POV
Alessandro signaled Luca with a serious look on his face before dragging me along with him into one of the cars.
Luca was the one who drove the car this time while I watched Alessandro do something on his phone.
"Boss, I heard a fight broke out at one of the casinos. Someone was stabbed," Luca informed while I looked at the window as always.
"Have the manager take care of it. And if anything gets out of hand, you clean up the shit," Alessandro replied firmly.
It was nothing already and there was nothing else to see out the window than the lights in the city.
We got out of the car and Alessandro dragged me into the mansion.
"Where are you taking me to? You are making me dizzy…" I said but he didn't listen and just turned deaf ears to my claims.
I wasn't lying when I said I was dizzy. In fact, I feel weak to the extent I may faint if he keeps handling me roughly just like he's doing.
Seeing him turn dead ears to me, I yelled his name while I freed myself from his grip at the same time. "Alessandro!"
"Listen to me baby girl, I have a lot of things to do than tend to your stupid tantrums. So, It's better if you do as I say or else…" He began but I cut him off immediately.
"... you will give me the death sentence I wish for" I completed his sentence with a scoff.
"You can do better than this Alessandro. Give me a break. A break is all I ask for. You handle me roughly like I am some piece of trash you care less about," I lashed out loud as tears rolled down my petite face.
Looking at me intently with gritted teeth, I heard him swear before responding to me, "If not a piece of trash, then what are you? You think you are that important just because I decided to keep you as a slave rather than kill you?"
"Think again flower," he said before carrying me like a sack of grain into the house.
Dropping me on the sofa in the large room that looks like a mini apartment, I saw the door open behind him and a lady walked in.
"Here she is. I put her into your care so make sure she doesn't escape. The moment she does, just say your last prayers," he whispered to the lady who nodded while the whole of her body trembled in fear.
Alessandro left me in the hands of the lady and walked out of the room. I stared at the room as a sigh escaped my mouth several times.
I know I overreacted back there than I am supposed to but what can I do?
I am just another soul living rent free in the body of someone else. I am not even sure if Bianca's soul is completely gone.
"Mrs Marino, I am the live-in nurse Don Alessandro has hired for you. I am here to take good care of you so kindly tell me how you are feeling," I heard the lady say to me, making my cloud of thoughts disappear instantly.
"Oh. Yes. I remember he had said he would hire a nurse for me. I never knew it would be this quick," I replied with a smile before answering her previous question.
"I am feeling a little dizzy and weak. It has been one hell of a journey so I would like to clean up first before we begin," I replied while I checked out the doors in the room to see which one led to the bathroom.
"Before I have my bath, can you please get me something to drink? A glass of fresh orange fruit juice perhaps," I requested with a smile.
"Sure Mrs. Marino," the nurse replied before walking out of the room.
Seeing her finally go out of the room, I decided to explode the whole mansion rather than sit idle in the house.
Luckily for me, the door wasn't locked so I slipped out of the room into the living room as quickly as I could.
It was a good thing I was locked in a room at the main floor rather than the second floor where It would be required of me to use the stairs before leaving.
I noticed a door behind me and I hurriedly opened it as quiet as I could and slipped out.
The door happened to lead to the back of the mansion.
Finally I'm out of this suffocating mansion. Breathing the fresh air in, I heard a noise as I sauntered to the garden part.
I trailed the voices I was hearing and ended up in an enclosed part of the mansion.
It was a place hidden from prying eyes. Though it was my first time at the place, I never knew a place like this would exist in such a beautiful mansion.
"Don Alessandro please. I never knew it would not go as expected," I heard the voice of a man please so I hurriedly hid in a corner.
"Of course, you can't know it won't go as expected. You were the last person I expected to betray me but since you have, I have no other reasons to keep you. You being alive means more harm to me," I heard Alessandro say while pointing the gun at the man whose legs were tied.
The man was already drenched in his own blood. His clothes were tattered and I am sure those injuries and his one eye which was closed was as a result of beating.
"P… Pl… Pease Don Alessandro, I plead of you. Leave my family out of this. My… My wife just put to… to bed a month ago. Please, don't harm them," the man stuttered while coughing up blood repeatedly.
"You should have thought about your family before betraying me by collecting a huge sum of money from my enemies and giving them Intel about me," Alessandro said before pulling the trigger.
Wait, will he really kill the man and wipe out the whole of his family?
Won't get better arrested?
Like he could read my mind, Alessandro's next words amazed me.
"You know I can kill you right here and wipe out every trace of your existence. No one would even know you were born."
"Please Don. Please.." those were the last words the man could say before Alessandro pulled the trigger and shot the man on his head.
A scream left my mouth as the fragments of memory from my previous life began to play in my head.
A loud pitch of sound rang in my head as I fell to the cold floor. That was all I could hear before everything went pitch black.
