Alessandro stared at the man before him with disgust. He had always made sure all of his workers were okay and had no reasons to receive bribes and betrayed him.
But this man, this one man here has betrayed him once. He pleaded and promised not to do the same thing again but he still repeated it.
He is Don Alessandro. A man who never forgave the slightest mistake but he had to forgive him because of his then pregnant wife.
Now look at where forgiveness has led him to. He was lucky Bianca had attempted to commit suicide the day his enemies laid an ambush against him or else, he would have been at the hospital, probably fighting for his life also.
Or worst still, dead.
The moment he heard Bianca took poison, he had to leave where he was for Italy. He didn't care if the girl died since she was his slave but he felt pushed to go see her at the hospital.
Besides, she was a beautiful woman and finding beauty like this was rare.
Alessandro felt he was compelled to see her probably due to the fact that he had seen her picture before.
Or maybe because he wanted to know why a young girl who just started to live her life would want to kill herself rather than get married to him.
He later found out about the ambush while he was at the hospital to visit Bianca. Alessandro had promised himself that this time around, he would not let the traitor go.
He was also happy that the disaster Bianca brought to herself could affect his life positively.
To him, she is his life saver.
And now, this man before him dared to plead?
How dare he!
Who is the heartless one now?!
Giving him a piece of his mind, Alessandro pulled the trigger and shot the man.
At the same moment, he heard a voice scream and turned to the back.
"Where did the scream come from?" He asked one of his men who was there to witness the killing.
"I think from there…" one of them replied, pointing to a hidden corner of the open room.
"Quick! Find who it is?" Alessandro instructed before combing his hair to the back with his fingers.
He didn't know who was spying on him so he needed to be careful. The last thing he wants is for his spy to escape. The person must be killed no matter what.
"Boss! Here… It's your wife," one of the men who searched informed.
"What?!" Alessandro muttered with unbelief as he traced the voice of his man.
"What is Bianca doing out here?" He asked in confusion as he carried her back to the room.
Walking into the room, Alessandro found Camilla, the live-in nurse he hired in cold sweat, trembling like a leaf by the river side.
"What were you doing when she wandered away!" He yelled, holding the woman tight in his grip as his fingers tore into her flesh.
"I… I am sorry Don. She requested for some juice and I saw her walk into the bathroom.. All my thoughts were that she wanted to have her bath. I never knew she would trick me," Camilla replied as tears ran down her face continuously.
"Check her and make sure she is okay. If anything happens to her, know that you would be required to pay with your life in return! Not just you, but the whole of your family also," Alessandro said with affirmation before taking his leave.
Alessandro didn't expect Bianca to see that bloody side of him. The incident tonight also had him wondering why she had a sudden change of attitude.
He had once met with her before she attempted to commit suicide and that was after his right hand man propose to him to take her as a slave.
Since her family were too poor to pay up their debts, he decided to keep her as a toy who will always be there to satisfy his sexual desires.
Alessandro had thought of Bianca as a silent woman who will always be ready to obey him.
From what he could see the night he met with her and her parents, she was the calm and quiet type of person of wants.
He was a lover of those types of women because they never fight back or talk back. They always saved him the stress of repeating himself.
Little did he know that he would get what he didn't order for. A stubborn wife.
Bianca's recent attitude had him wondering why her character changed all of a sudden.
She acted more differently than their first meeting.
"Was she hiding this side of her on purpose?" Alessandro muttered to himself before someone called him from behind.
"Boss."
"Luca, have you cleared up the dead body?" Alessandro asked as they walked to the garden.
"Yes Boss. I am awaiting your further instructions on what to do with his family. Should we clear them up?" Luca asked.
Alessandro heaved a sigh and looked up in the sky like he was thinking if something.
"No. Let them be but I want you to clear off every bit of trace. I don't want anyone coming after me for revenge. You know how I do my things Luca. Make the clean up perfect," Alessandro said, patting Luca on the back before walking away.
"Noted Boss," Luca replied from behind before going in the opposite direction.
Alessandro went to the park where his cars were parked. Choosing the one with the tinted glass, Alessandro got in and drove out of the mansion. He had never been so embarrassed in his life like he was that afternoon when he dragged Bianca to the Jet terminal with the hospital dress still on.
Truth be told, he never planned to take her along with him but for some reasons, he felt compelled to.
Alessandro felt he won't have peace within himself if he left her with her parents. Someone who tried to kill herself without been successful would definitely want to retry at the slightest chance.
Besides, he saw no harm in having her along. That way, he could keep an eye on her.
She was his slave afterall and he would be so displeased if anything was to happen to her since he was yet to devour her.
