FEW DAYS AGO…
"My love, good morning and how was your night?", Bo Hai asked as he served Ming Zhu breakfast in bed.
"My night was fine and yours?", she asked with a beautiful smile while trying to sit up.
"That is good to know. Let me help you with your hair", her husband said as he placed the tray of food on the bedside cupboard.
Hearing that, a smile formed on her lips as she turned her back to him so he could assist her as he said. As soon as she turned, Bo Hai assisted her to tie her long ebony hair in a bun before he turned her to face him.
"You look so beautiful that i can't help but to keep falling in love with you every second and every minute", he said to her and Ming Zhu felt her face flush.
"Come on…", Ming Zhu drawled with a blush as she hit his chest slightly with a blow, trying her best to contain her emotions.
Carrying back the tray of food, Bo Hai placed it in front of her.
"Now let's eat before the soup gets cold. We would not want to waste our favorite soup, would we?", Bo Hai said to her with a wink and she picked up the spoon to eat.
Ming Zhu glanced at her husband while she ate. She always loved it whenever her husband served her every morning with her favorite soup. As long as he was the one who prepared it and served it to her before she prepared for work, she would never get tired of it.
She was grateful for the sort of husband she had as he was a caring man and she would never trade him for anything.
"I thought you said you would be traveling out of the country today so as to monitor the affairs of most of the branches you could not visit the last time?", she asked before taking her drink.
"I can't leave yet until you leave for the company Ming Zhu. I want to make sure you don't skip meals so I will have to leave after you leave for work", Bo Hai said so as to make sure she finished her soup.
"You are so caring and I just hope I can give you a child as soon as possible, Bo Hai. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me and I thank the heavens for bringing you to me. Thank you for everything", Ming Zhu said sincerely and a drop of tear rolled down her eyes.
"Don't cry honey…", Bo Hai said, wiping the tears from her face.
"And you don't need to thank me either. I am just doing everything a wonderful and responsible husband should do", he said to her again and a smile formed on her face.
Mhiz Zhu took a glance again at the man before her. She hoped she could give him a heir as soon as possible but then, the doctor told her her womb had some complications and she would not be able to conceive a child due to that.
She was so devastated the day she heard the news and cried her eyes out till they were swollen.
The doctor made it clear to her that they could have done something to help her, like a surgery and implantations but her state of health was not good enough to condone all of that or else, she would die.
She had wanted to risk going for the surgery even if it meant she would die after her baby delivery but her husband had warned her against it because he loved her so much saying he was not ready to lose her.
Her husband had told her to concentrate on her health first because that was all that mattered. It took her a long time to agree to it because her love for children made her want to be a mother badly.

PRESENT DAY…
Ming Zhu could not believe her eyes. She wondered what she might have done to deserve such treatment from her husband.
She could remember that ever since they both knew each other, she had never for once cheated on him, let alone doing something that would make him unhappy.
He had always shown her love and kindness just like he did feel days ago before he left to another country.
She on the other hand gave him whatever he wanted. She always made sure to make him know that what is hers is also his and whenever he did anything wrong, she was the one who always ended up asking for forgiveness but with all that, he still repayed her this way.
A hot tear rolled down her cheeks as the memories they shared together flooded her mind. She looked at him again while she still gasped for air as he held her neck tight.
She managed to open her mouth to speak but all that came out were stuttered sentences since she could barely breathe.
"What… what did i do to… to deserve such treatment from… you?", she asked in a whisper silently cursing the day she set her eyes on him.
Giving her villainous smile, Bo Hai spoke through gritted teeth.
"What a pathetic bitch you are! Did you think I ever wanted you? Did you for once really think I ever liked you and all I did to you was out of sincere feelings?" Ming Zhu heard him say.
"Then… then why?", she managed to ask as she saw her whole life flash in front of her.
She knew she would die any minute from now if he kept on holding her neck that way. Moreover, she was weak from the very beginning and was just discharged from the hospital.
But still, she wanted to know. She wanted to know what she did to deserve such treatment because nothing else could come to her mind.
"Well sister. Since you asked why, I think I should be the one to answer such a question…", Ming Zhu heard her sister, Ming Xia say as she walked towards her with an evil smirk.
"Ming Xia…", she whispered as she watched her sister give her husband a kiss on his cheek.
"You… You are so shameless", Ming Zhu whispered and swallowed hard.
"All we want is your money sister. Which is also a part of our father's money you refused to give to me…", that was all Ming Zhu heard before she started to feel dizzy and then everything went black in her head.
