"So have you thought about what I told you Kissa?" Layla asked immediately Cairo stepped out.
"I haven't thought about it." Kissa replied as she took out one of the scrolls under her bed and opened it to start reading.
"Stop reading now and listen. You do have a chance with him. He is bottling up a lot inside him." Layla half yelled and Kissa looked up at her with a 'Do you think I don't know' expression.
"You only actually know me but you don't know me. When I was young, i was told that people like me don't ever involve in love things because it ends in tragedy." Kissa replied as she dropped the scroll with her. "Following that your ideas is absurd."
Kissa stood up and walked to the balcony to look out at the beautiful night sky. She looked down her balcony and realized her personal pool was just below her balcony.
"How come I never noticed?!" She said they herself rather than ask herself.
"So what do you think wod be a better idea then if mine is absurd? Seriously, what exactly is absurd in it? It is a way to help both of you and develop love on the way." Layla's rolled her eyes.
"Sooner or later, I wi die so what is the point of falling in love even if it won't end tragically?" Kissa looked at Layla before leaning on the balcony to face the room. "I still don't get why our love ends tragically. Is it destined or because of a curse?" Kissa rubbed her chin gently.
"Why ask me? The scrolls her there, answers are there." Layla roll her eyes before standing up. "Utilize your alone time Kissa, only one of your maids is trustworthy. The other isn't."
Before Kissa could ask a question, Layla already turned into water and had left. Kissa sighed before looking back at the night sky then her wrist.
"What exactly is behind those shackles?" Kissa asked and surprisingly, the scroll on her bed shone brightly.
The scroll spread out in the air and words started appearing in the air like a telepresence device.
"Each sorceress is begin chained to one person or the other. Five percentage of all the sorceress that exsisted before you were controlled by the person they were chained to." Kissa read out silently.
"Like one is bonded to his true love, sorceress are under the control of that person and they won't have any other choice but to obey his command till her true love comes." Kissa looked confuse. "But sorceresses aren't meant to be in love." Kissa rubbed her chin gently but continued reading.
"No matter what, the person who the sorceress are chained to would be able to find them no matter where they go. Till the end of that sorceress lifetime, they would be chained even if she loses her powers." The scroll fell to the ground and closed by itself.
"Loses her powers? Can a sorceress lose her power?" Kissa looked at her hands then rushed to the fronto of the mirror. "But I was born with this sign and it looks permanent "
Kissa didn't get it well but the little she got had her curious. Kissa opened the scroll and surprisingly, it was blank.
"Wait, there were words there the other time right?" Kissa looked at the other side but it was blank too. "They are gone?" Kissa asked in confusion, still looking back and forth.
Kissa brought out the remaining scrikks and realized the were blank too.
"What's going on?" One of the scrolls shone brightly and the same thing that happened the other time happened again.
"In order to keep the secret of how our things works, only the sorceress can access what is in these scrolls. Her curiousity makes the answer come out." Kissa read and the scroll fell. "Wow, isn't that amazing?"
"Yes it is." Layla's voice was heard behind her and Kissa looked at her. "Try reading inside so you won't be caught by your maids."
"You could see it?" Kissa asked.
"No. All I see is you reading the air with a scroll on the floor." Layla replied before shrugging. "I forgot my hand band."
Layla picked her hand band before disappearing.
