Chereads / Pharaoh's Vengeful Prisoner / Chapter 22 - Vision

Chapter 22 - Vision

Kissa stood at the other end of the table with her head bowed.

She was wearing her veil and a golden gown with a black belt with Suma's crest on it.

"You sent for me Pharaoh." Kissa said and the whole room wnet silent before Asim spoke up.

"We need your help Kissa. We have kingdoms we haven't conquered and the remaining ones, according to the general here, have a tight force." Asim gestured at the General and Kissa nodded.

She knew what he was talking about and she looked down at the map with a raised brow.

This was the first time she was seeing the whole map of Egypt with all the kingdoms located on it and it looked beautiful.

All the officials sitting around the table left as Kissa sat there, looking at each corner of the maps, admiring it.

She was drawn out of her admiration by Asim's fake cough and she cleared her throat before taking a deep breath.

She wasn't sure if she could control her visions yet, but the little she has tried, might help her.

Kissa closed her eyes and whispered something as she moved across the map with her right hand.

She tried it the first time and she felt… Nothing.

Kissa room a deep breath against and tried it again and soon the eye of Horus and eye of Ra around her eyes shone brightly.

Her hair flowed gently underneath her veil and the weather outside started changing.

The water in the fountains in the room started flowing backwards and some droplets of water floated in the air.

"Victory." Her voice echoed through the whole room, making the thunder boom outside.

"You shall conquer all of the kingdoms except one." Kissa said again, making the officials look at each other.

"They will wage war against you. The outcome of the battle isn't decided yet but you have to get ready." The rain started to fall heavily outside.

"The first kingdom you should conquer is Nashwa. You will go and return victorious." Kissa said.

"How should we strategize?" The general asked and everywhere was quiet for a few minutes before Kissa let out a loud scream.

"Lapis, pull her out of her vision now." Asim thundered.

"I can't, she's deep in her vision already and I can't just pull her out." Lapis said with unease.

Asim gritted his teeth as the rain poured heavily and the water in the room started moving in a troubled way.

"You shall send people into the kingdom on their market day. Send as much as half of your men in. Their power source is their king." Kissa said and her hair returned slowly to its normal colour and the eye of Horus and eye of Ra around her eyes didn't shine anymore.

Kissa slowly opened her eyes and batted her eyelashes a few times. She looked around the map and spotted the place she had seen in her vision.

It was Cairo's kingdom. The forces seemed powerful just like other kingdoms she saw but its fate has not been decided along with another one kingdom.

"Thank you very much for your presence here today Lady Kissa." The men bowed and Kissa smiled gently before standing up.

"You can take your leave, Kissa. If we need any other thing, I would be sending for you." Asim dismissed her and she bowed before walking out of the room.

The first person Kissa saw was Sabola and she faced her in a panic. "Did the rain destroy anything? The food field or anything? I hope it wasn't destroyed."

"Everything is in good condition Lady Kissa. No need to worry about it." Sabola bowed and Kissa let out a sigh of relief before heading back to her quarters.

"Is Ramla still down with a cold?" Kissa asked and Sabola nodded affirmatively.

"I visited her yesterday Lady Kissa and it seems to be getting worse. Some other servants have taken her to the village doctor and she should be back on her feet in a few days." Sabola assured and Kissa nodded before she walked down to her pool.

"I need to find a way to control the rain when I'm connecting deeply with my inner self. It might end up destroying something." Kissa sighed.

She pulled off her sandals and the dress she was wearing, leaving herself in her camisole and underskirt.

Sabola closed the doors behind her and waited in the passageway so she wouldn't disturb Kissa.

"Hello sorceress." Layla appeared between the pool of water with a smile on my face.

"You decided to ruin a beautiful weather when I was enjoying it."

"It wasn't intentional." Kissa rolled her eyes. Then she remembered she hadn't seen Cairo that afternoon. "Where's Cairo?"

"In the village. In the brothel, having women."

Immediately she heard those words, her face darkened and a new type of feeling overwhelmed her.
