Chereads / The Queen of Nevadie / Chapter 7 - Chapter 6

Chapter 7 - Chapter 6

Stacey was busy with the recruitment of the 25 southside elite warriors while there was a lot of heat in the westside. Before the first five elite warriors were chosen, Stacey was in the woods honing the small magical maneuvers she had been practicing. When the event of the recruitment of the first five elite warriors was about to happen, she saw two tall Boys a short time before she was about to leave. She immediately called them to ask what they were doing in the woods, and when she looked at their faces closely, she realized they were twins, and she was quite taken aback by how similar they looked. After the short pause among the three of them, Stacey asked them for their names and they introduced their selves as "Jason and Aaron", The twins told her they had gone to the gravesite of their mother to make a promise to her that they would be chosen as one of the five elite warriors. Up until that point, Stacey didn't think people took the recruitment seriously. She was concerned, though, because she had no acquaintance with or knowledge of her biological parents. During the event of the recruitment of the first five elite warriors of Nevadie, Raymond decided to make it the recruitment of the Cavalry. For the cavalry. An elite Cavalry was not regarded as one person but two. Only two males—Jason and Aaron—passed the test and defeated every male opponent. They had exceptional fighting prowess as well as the uncommon ability to combine into one large, enraged wolf. This gave them an advantage over everyone else because they knew when to use their power combo and when not to. All eight of the remaining elite cavalries were made up of female wolves because they seemed to be more cooperative and showed more interest in the cavalry recruitment than male wolves do.

Scouts from the Southside informed Stacey of the events in the Westside during the recruitment of the Elite Cavalry. Stacey's receipt of the information and her departure from the fight floor were both observed by Raymond. Raymond attempted to concentrate on what the scouts were telling Stacey but was unable to do so due to the excessive noise in the arena. When Raymond finally caught up with Stacey at the Castle, she told him all about the death of King Alex's Brother and the Snow Serpent in the West Side. Raymond exited the Arena and followed Stacey. Fortunately for them, they were informed that the snow serpent was not too large for wolves to handle despite the fact that the news about it had been somewhat exaggerated. In order to prevent them from derailing their working strategy, Raymond advised her not to share the news with the group. Stacey considered his viewpoint, but she believed that it was bad for her people to be in the dark about what was happening; in addition, they would still hear something, one way or another, and she had to be open with everyone since there would always be a way.

She explained everything to Raymond, telling him that she appreciated his worry and viewpoint but that it would be best to inform the residents of Southside. They both returned to the arena and took in the remaining battles as if nothing had happened. The moment the 5 top Cavalries were chosen, Raymond spoke to them in a respectful manner and Stacey presented each of them with their unique Cavalry swords.

After the recruitment of the five elite cavalries, Stacey instructed everyone to assemble in the arena for a very important announcement. She informed them of the existence of the Snow serpent and advised them that, as a result, everyone, regardless of the troop type they were interested in, now had to learn how to use a sword for personal defense. Because she had fantastic ideas for them, everyone was inspired by her decisions and felt more charismatic to follow what their queen ordered. She concluded by telling everyone to light up the Southside's borders so that the Snow Serpent can't surprise them and attack.
