Stacey rose up and thumped her chest after hearing the tale. She pledged to do every effort to fulfill her destiny and bring about peace in the Kingdom of Nevadie.
Stacey took the compass from the seer and expressed gratitude for his assistance. She traveled back to Nevadie and met everyone in the Arena, they were all learning how to use swords and Raymond was their tutor. He somehow managed to carry everyone along without anyone getting hurt. When Stacey saw them all in the Arena practicing, she got more emotional and went to her room in the castle to have some time to herself. She was broken because of the story she heard; she didn't believe her dad got killed in cold blood but it is what it is. She was also very proud and happy when she saw everyone practicing how to use swords although the snow serpent died, it was a big plus for her to see everyone working on themselves.
After some time, Raymond discovered that Stacey had returned to Southside, so he told everyone to keep practicing in the arena and immediately went to the castle to check on Stacey. He arrived at her door and wanted to check on her, but he also respected her privacy, so he chose to knock. Stacey asked Raymond who was at the door after the customary three knocks, and when he responded, she cleaned her face with a warm towel before heading to open the door for him. She questioned him about leaving everyone in the arena to see her, and he replied, "Well, we have all been practicing all day so they can probably take care of themselves and perfect all the moves I have taught them," while grinning and wiping the sweat off his forehead. When Stacey asked him why he was in her room, Raymond grinned and said that he had come to inquire about how her visit to the seer had gone. Stacey told him everything, and as she described how her father had been murdered by his own people, she became very emotional. After giving her a hug and telling her to be strong and keep her head up, Raymond wanted to tell Stacey a similar story to show that he completely understood how she felt. However, he didn't have any stories like that, so he just ignored that idea. Stacey's eye was filled with tears after the prolonged hug because she was unable to control them. Raymond dried the tears and kissed her forehead while reassuring her that everything would be okay. Stacey wiped away her tears and told Raymond that the hug and care were all she needed to recover. She also told Raymond that sometimes, when someone is extremely hurt, it's best if they can express their pain to someone they truly trust and love. Before Raymond left her room, he made the move to kiss Stacey and she kissed him back and they hugged once again.
