She felt better now that she had less eyes on her and felt way more comfortable than before, especially now that harassment was over.
"Done whining kid?" Theo said with a grin.
"Shut up b*tch, you have no f*ck*ng delicacy as always" Selene silently said, knowing that people were watching them from afar.
"Woah, people watching us might hear you" Theo said in a giddy manner

Theo closed his eyes and opened his arms wide, taunting Selene to take the punch.

"Gah!?.... cough... cough..... you actually... cough did it...:" Theo clutching his stomach in pain.
"Oh my god, I should do this more often. I feel a thousand times better" Selene said with the satisfied smile on her face.
The people watching them were taken aback by Selene's sudden action of violence, but relented on doing anything, knowing that it didn't contain any killing intent.
Theo who recovered from Selene's punch glared at Selene as he spoke.
".... Well glad that you are happy. I'm holding a grudge for this..."
"You always hold a grudge against me, I'm used to it."
Selene dismissively waved her hand at Theo before leaning on the balcony and looking up at the starry skies.
She looked at the night sky melancholy and propped up her chin with her right arm.
Theo sensed something changed in the atmosphere and silently followed Selene and leaned on the balcony as well. Selene spoke through her telepathy after a brief pause.
Selene used telepathy just in case someone was eavesdropping them.

Selene, in-game, usually just kicks the man's groin before anyone could take action and Theo would still be conversing with Patrick until the attention was diverted to the ruckus caused by Selene.
She would then meekly lower her head and glance at her father, who would do the same thing as before and help her, then she would then leave by herself to the balcony, where Theo would coincidentally meet her, because he wanted to escape from Patrick's pestering.
The event was just a chance for Selene and Theo to meet alone in the middle of the ball and develop their relationship further.
An iconic scene where you'd see Theo's rare smile as he conversed with Selene under the starry skies and moonlight. It was one of the top 10 romance scenes in the game.

Selene tried to punch Theo again, luckily he was prepared and was able to dodge her attack.

Selene placed her hands on her face and started balling her eyes out.

Theo's head suddenly went into full panic.

Not knowing what else to do, Theo stepped up and pulled Selene into his embrace.

Selene momentarily stopped crying and became dumbfounded at Theo's actions.

After Theo released Selene from his embrace she punched Theo again on the gut

Selene started wiping her tears with her gloves, when a handkerchief was presented in front of her.
"Here, use it" Theo offered while still clutching his stomach.
Selene silently nodded and used Theo's white handkerchief.
"Finally some decency...." Selene muttered under her breath.
"Hahaha..." Theo dryly laughed in response
Selene leaned on the balcony again and reenacted her melancholic gaze. Again, she asked the Theo the same question.
"WHAT!?" Theo said loudly, dumbfounded.
"Are you messing with me!?" Theo said angrily at Selene.
"No, I just met and stuff so it's hard to tell you so suddenly when we only just met....."
Theo turned around and started walking back inside.
"I'm leaving" Theo said coldly
"Wait wait wait wait!" Selene pulled Theo on his sleeve.
"Let go! You're just making a fool out of me! I thought you trusted me!"
"Im ready now! So don't go!"
"..... 100% ready!?"
"100%!" Selene nodded vigorously
"..... Fine. No more dilly dallying"
Selene went back to her previous position for the third time, leaning on the balcony and staring at the sky and Theo followed her, expecting it to be the last time they were doing this.

Selene became visibly more gloomier as she spoke. Theo on the other hand silently stared at Selene, thinking of a solution to make her less depressed than she already was
"Sorry, I know it's dumb and I'll definitely do better from now on so-"
Before Selene could speak further, Theo cut her off.

"What?" Selene looks at Theo confused on what's his trying to do
Theo then took a step forward and gave Selene a gentle squeeze.

Theo was looking beyond the balcony, beyond the vast skies, reminiscing of his time when he was back on Earth with his beloved sister.
The Dragon she always played and fought with was nowhere to be seen. Right now, she was looking at a man who just missed his sister, who he might never see again.
She found it oddly amusing that one of the top players of Legends of Alethea is a siscon.
All the guys from the guild wouldn't even believe the person in front of them was the same if they were here right now, hehe.
As Selene was preoccupied Theo glanced back at Selene puzzlingly, seeing her smiling and almost giggling to herself
"I'm glad that your feeling way better" Theo said with cheeky smile
Selene, who was busy with her own world, realized what she was doing, leading to her shoving Theo away in embarrassment
"Woah! Hey!" Theo said, upset at Selene's violent reaction.
Realizing she just did something rude, she bowed her head in apology.
"I-I'm sorry, I was just uhhhh I-I" Selene stuttered and clammered trying to explain herself.
Theo just sighed at the sight of the flustered Selene and laughed wryly.
"You look so dumb right now, hahahaha!" Theo, taking this chance to make fun of her awkward actions.
Selene got even more embarrassed and now with Theo's provocation, pissed.
"AGGHH!!! I can't with you THEO! CHOOSE! BE NICE OR A D*CK!!!" Selene, summoning her scythe to attack Theo.
Theo, taken aback by Selene's overdramatized reaction, summoned his sword to defend himself.

Unknowingly to both of them, there was a barrier around them that blocked off any kind of sound or mana waves, making it possible for them to go unnoticed by the people who were still inside the ballroom and muted to those who see them from afar.
Only a rare or expensive barrier artifact or an extremely powerful person could pull this off, seeing that all the guests hadn't noticed any disturbances that Selene and Theo were making.
Fifteen minutes passed, Selene was finally tired and exhausted from swinging her scythe with everything she had.
"I.... hate.... that... your ..... a tier.... higher than me..!" Selene said while leaning on the balcony, tired.
"Don't forget that you still have the debuffs ma'am. The chaos energy did improve your physique and lessen your burdens, but you still gotta train girl." Theo mentioned with a smile on his face, not even breaking a single sweat.
"... just you wait... that pretty face of yours won't be as pretty when I'm in the same tier!" Selene said while glaring.

Theo could only respond in silence, because what Selene said was right on point.
Selene, when her debuffs lessened or disappeared, will probably make Theo run for his money unless he gets the right build that he hopes he could get earlier.
Theo approached the exhausted Selene and placed his hand on her right shoulder.
Selene, still annoyed, reluctantly let him as she knew what he intended to do.

"Suit yourself, we need to go back now. Your lucky your dress has an auto clean and repair enchantment or you'd look like a mess in front of everyone" Theo mentioned, while walking back towards the crowded ballroom.
Halfway back towards the entrance of the balcony, Selene grabs Theo's wrist, stopping him from leaving.
"Theo...."
Theo already expected this to happen.
"Yes, Selene?"
Selene squirmed in place for a bit before opening her mouth again.
"T-thank you... for the hug..." Selene said, placing her pride away to show appreciation to Theo's actions.
"Yo-!"
Before Theo could speak further, Selene unexpectedly hugs him from the back, shocking Theo to the core, not expecting the biggest hater of both of his loves would take initiative and hug him.
"I-If you ever want to talk about anything, even the past, I-I'm also here for you" Selene said, stuttering with her arms around Theo's torso.
Her words struck a chord in his heart as he was reminded of his sister back on Earth
Theo smiled, feeling the comforting warmth Selene emanated, appreciating her noticing that he was upset that he wasn't able to see his last living family back on Earth and essentially leaving her behind alone.
"Thanks, Selene"
Theo placed his hand on top of Selene's small hands and caressed them.
Selene flinched in response, jolting from the unexpected cold touch of Theo's hand.
"I owe you one hug then, ma'am"

The doors to the balcony suddenly burst open, revealing a young man with brown hair with a large smile on his face.
"Hey Theo! I wanted to drop by and ask yo-!?"
Patrick froze after seeing that Selene was embracing Theo from behind, sadly for Selene and Theo some other helpers and a few other people saw this as a result of Patrick's intrusion.
"Uhhh! Sorry for the intruding! See you later Theo!"
Patrick, realizing that he intruded on something between Selene and Theo, bowed his head, apologized and left after closing the doors once again.
After a moment of silence, Selene and Theo spoke up in unison
