"The Outskirts of hell's lowest plane?" Daniel who was in shock asked absentmindedly as he gazed all over the place.
The area they were in was so vast, that he felt like he was standing in the middle of all the oceans on his planet combined.
However, instead of water, it was filled with souls and demons, and instead of clouds; he could only see what looked like massive rivers of raging flames dying his vision in red.
Whilst still deep in his thoughts Daniel suddenly heard a chiming, but very enchanting voice float into the area.
"Kiyoko pays her respect to Lord Valpak." Daniel then looked up and saw the air above them ripple slightly before green-colored flames began to seep out of it, floating and spreading out in different directions.
Then these green flames began to form several patterns mid-air, and when they all gathered, they ended up forming a green double door that had purple runes engraved on it.
The door opened wide revealing a purple-colored portal, out of which a green-colored patch of cloud appeared.
Riding and descending atop this green flaming cloud was a very young lady whose beauty can never be described through rational means.
She wore long purple hair that flowed silkily across her shoulders and fell to her calves.
Her face was adorned by two green eyes that seem to hold the ability to suck any soul into a world of their wildest fantasies.
She wore a robe of the same color as her hair that was adorned by several little green dragons that slithered gently all over her outfit.
She bowed slightly and gracefully towards Legion who simply nodded slightly and smiled.
"Princess Kiyoko."
He replied as the lady nodded and gazed toward Daniel who seemed to have been dazed for a while.
"Fufufu."
Princess Kiyoko chuckled lightly before turning her attention back to Legion.
"Father told me to come to fetch Lord Valpak and his companion." She said in a soft voice that jolted Daniel out of his daze.
Daniel frowned slightly and looked at the lady who was in a material body and wondered how it was possible.
He was also frightened by the fact that the lady in front of him was able to make him utterly vulnerable through her looks and a simple sentence despite all the training and life-threatening experiences that he had gone through in his past life.
'I need to be very careful around this lady.'
Daniel thought to himself as he tried to guard his consciousness and soul against the natural but tyrannical charm that was slightly seeping out of the Princess's body.
"Everyone in here can hear your thoughts kid," Legion said as he patted Daniel's shoulder whilst Princess Kiyoko simply covered her mouth with her sleeves and chuckled slightly.
The moment Daniel heard this, he gave a helpless sigh and shook his head before bowing to the princess.
"I didn't mean to offend you, your highness."
"Hehe, I'm not offended, I get that a lot whenever I travel to any realm." Princess Kiyoko waved her sleeves in dismissal before looking back at Legion.
"Lord Valpak, shall we?" She gestured for Legion to step onto the green flaming cloud and Legion simply nodded before grabbing Daniel along.
They stepped onto the green flaming cloud that floated towards the open portal, and the moment they entered the portal, the green double door shut itself and vanished.
What greeted Daniel and his entourage on the other side was a very long corridor with no end in sight.
On both sides of the corridor were countless doors that looked like the one the princess had brought them through.
All the doors were left ajar and within them, all were portals of different colors.
The Princess walked up to the one opposite them and pulled the door shut.
She then looked at the circular rune formation on the door and after changing their sequences, she pushed them open once again, and this time, it was a golden portal that appeared within it.
Appearing on the other side of the portal, Daniel saw several souls doing what seemed to be administrative work; moving and sorting several slips of papers, scrolls, and books all over the place.
The princess led the way as they maneuvered through the cluster of souls and arrived in front of an opened double door.
This new area was just like the previous one with several souls moving about; but the princess simply walked towards the door, grabbed its handles, and shut it.
Then after waiting for a few seconds, she slowly pushed the door open, and this time, they appeared within what seemed to be a small library.
They walked through the library and when they reached its deepest recess, a small door awaited them, and before anyone could say anything, a recently familiar voice sounded from inside.
"Valpak, come in, we don't have much time left." The voice said as the princess opened the door and the trio arrived in a small, quiet study that was surrounded by bookshelves.
A green-robed, middle-aged man sat at the table at the center, and to his left was another face that was also recently familiar to Daniel, flipping through a book.
"Father… Lord Sun." The princess greeted.
The other figure -who was the demi-human Daniel had seen on the golden mirror back within the soul world- nodded at the retreating princess before shutting the book he was reading and returning it to one of the shelves.
Sam looked towards the bookshelf and saw all of them carrying the same tag.
'Office of The First Order Supreme Judge'-
-and instantly, it dawned on him that the person he was currently standing in the presence of, might as well be the person in charge of everything within this realm.
"Yama, what happened?" Legion asked.
"Which one do you want to hear first; the good or the bad news?" Sun interjected as he returned to his seat.
Amongst everyone in the study, only Yama was in a material body that looked exactly like a normal middle-aged man.
Everyone else was all in their soul form and whilst Daniel and Valpak [Legion] both had blue and blood-red souls respectively, Sun's was white with three golden halos floating just behind him. Valpak frowned before answering.
"I'll take the good one first."
"We have finally managed to find the realm of the forgotten true spirit." Legion nodded and waited for the bad news first before knowing if they had anything to be happy about or not.
"As for the bad news; the true spirits have noticed the awakening of the Omni-crystal, and they have sent five elder gods to retrieve it or destroy them." Valpak's eyes widened in horror.
"Five elder gods!? Who did they send?" He asked in a trembling voice that made Daniel understand that his life might finally end before he even reincarnated.
"They sent the god twins; Imros and Kvass, and with them; Belen, Beira, and Onir." Yama responded anxiously.
"Damn those single-minded buffoons; are they trying to kill us!?" Valpak bellowed in fury as the blood-red mist began to seep out of his soul.
"Valpak, calm down, that's not the major problem," Sun said with a chuckle as if the nervous and scary situation wasn't getting to him.
"The problem is, we have to get close to the realm as soon as possible and have our projections summon our true bodies." Sun began.
"We have the kid and the crystal with us, which means if we shift locations, they will have to follow, so we can flee at any time."
"The major thing is that this kid picks a suitable treasure and Yama sends him into the cycle of reincarnation before they arrive."
After hearing Sun's explanation, Valpak calmed himself as the red mist receded into his body before looking at Yama.
"Yama, you're the one with the widest and deepest knowledge amongst us, you will have to deal with Imros and Kvass before the fight begins. You know how their powers work and the level of tragedy that will befall us if we lose to them."
Yama nodded as Valpak continued.
"If Yama wins, then he can take care of Onir, then Sun and I would handle Belen and Beira," Valpak added as Sun simply gazed toward Yama with an amused smile.
"Oh, is Yama; the Ruler of the Netherworld still scared of beating up ladies?" He asked with a taunting smile as rebutted with a frown.
"If they were ordinary gods, I would have let Kiyoko beat them up; but they're elder gods, so my hands are tied."
Sun chuckled ridiculously at Yama's response before looking to Valpak.
"Alright, since we're all caught up, I suggest we leave as soon as possible." He said with a rarely-seen seriousness that reminded Yama and Valpak of the dire battle they were about to fight.
