Michelle hung her phone, her blood ran cold her Alec's gaze.
"I..,"
Alec was in no mood to hear her explanation.
He pinned her against the wall with a strong grip on her wrist and got awfully close to her.
El's eyes were lowered.
"Look at me," he said, gritting his teeth.
She still kept her eyes lowered.
"LOOK AT ME" he roared.
She hesitated and looked at him
"You see me as a monster, don't you" he seethed.
"N..no" she quavered.
"I'll show you the monster." He said and threw her on the bed. He trapped her with his body on top her.
El kept her hand his chest to stop him but she didn't apply any force on him.
He got closer to her face, and his hands travelled on her body ruthlessly trying to take her clothes off.
El, continued to shake her head and pleaded "Please, please don't."
Soon her eyes were brimming with tears.
Alec's anger was reduced looking at her. He let go of her and said
"Get the fuck out of my room and never come here again".
She got up from the bed and started walking away. As she was near the door, Alec held here again,
"Let me make this clear to you, I won't be divorcing you and don't you dare think of leaving me." Saying this he pushed her hand and closed the door.
For a few seconds El stood in front on the door blankly staring it.
She then went downstairs and sat on the couch.
She didn't have anything with her, not even her phone. She just sat staring at the floor, trying not to think anything.
She continued to be in the same state for an hour.
Alec came downstairs and noticed her sitting like that.
He ignored her and left after instructing his guard Robert
"Have the maids arrange the downstairs guest room for her and have her stuff moved there."
"If she goes anywhere today, inform me." He left for Ricky's bar -'Rags and Riches"
"Hi dude, what brings you here. This is the first time after your wedding you are coming here" Ricky said at one go.
Noticing Alec's cold, darkened face he asked "what's wrong buddy?".
"El thinks I'm a monster and wants divorce." Alec said.
He made him listen to the audio which Carolyn had sent.
"That's bad man" Ricky replied.
"So will you be giving her all of this" Ricky asked.
"I don't plan to divorce her." Alec said in a cold voice.
"What if she does? Without any of these?" Ricky asked again.
Alec was quite.
"Given the circumstances in which your wedding happened, she could even get it annulled" Ricky said.
Alec got annoyed at his words and shot him a glare.
"I'm just telling you the possibilities dude."
"Doesn't she know who I am? There is no way I'll let her get away from me."
"Even though she thinks of me as an evil monster, I'll keep her by my side." Alec said ruthlessly.
"What do you mean?" Ricky asked.
"I heard her say that she can't let go of the fact that I had threatened someone's life to force Elena to find me a bride".
"Well that you did" Ricky said out bluntly.
Alec glared at him again.
"Would you have really got him killed?".
Ignoring the question Alec replied,
"I wasn't thinking straight at that time".
"Or were you thinking exactly straight?" Ricky asked with a sly smile.
"That incident happening a few hours before the wedding, gave you the opportunity to have what you wanted all along, isn't it?" Ricky said, seeing through him.
"You grabbed that opportunity Alec. You wanted to have El as yours in some way, and grabbed the chance of having her as your wife." Ricky said with a smug smile.
"Yes, I did," Alec replied.
"But because of it she is scared of you now" Ricky said.
"Will you stop being the voice of reason for once?" Alec was visibly irritated.
Meanwhile in Alwils Villa,
Robert informed Patty to get the guest room arranged for El and have her clothes moved.
Robert gave the phone to El who was still sitting in the same spot . She took the phone.
"Sir has asked you to move to the guest room." She nodded and went to the guest room.
Alec returned back to Alwils villa at 3am at midnight. He was visibly drunk.
Robert, who had stayed back, informed him that El didn't leave the guest room after she entered it and hadn't had anything to eat as well.
Alec glanced inside the guest room, he saw that El was peacefully sleeping.
He didn't go in and went straight to his room upstairs.
The next day, Alec woke up and saw the time, it was almost noon.
He freshened up and went downstairs to have his breakfast.
He looked around but couldn't find El.
He went to the room she was staying in when he opened the door she was nowhere to be found.
He checked inside the washroom and also hurried to the lawn to find her.
"Where is El?" He asked Patty hurriedly.
"Ma'am left early in the morning." Alec felt extremely dismayed when he heard it.
'Did she really leave me' Alec thought to himself.
To his surprise he was feeling more sad than angry.
He tried calling her, and the ring went through but she had cancelled his call.
Alec was now starting to feel enraged, not only she left him without saying anything she cancelled his calls as well.
Alec was about to instruct Ben to find her when his phone beeped, he looked at it, surprisingly it was El's message.
' I'm at work'.
Alec checked the date and day on his phone. It was Monday, the day El was supposed to join her work.
He let out a breath of relief after realising that she had left for work and would be back by evening.
Patty served him his brunch.
"Buttered shrimps?" Alec asked, noticing them on his plate.
"Ma'am had made them for you yesterday, ''
Alec was surprised. He enjoyed his brunch with the buttered shrimps.
