"FUCK I WANTED TO TRY THIS" Andrew yelled a little frustrated. Turning towards the man in anger as he slammed both of his Axeblades down at the same time towards the man. The mans body was a blur as Andrew traced his movements behind him.
Andrews opponent was much faster than him, so fast that his movements would cause all detail in his clothing or face to become a blur that flowed through the wind.
Andrew had no choice but to continue the momentum by sidestepping and swinging upwards with the blunt back ends of the axeblade. Straining his shoulders to rotate enough to allow contact. Andrew was rewarded with a large thump and a body hitting the ground and rolling over a couple of times.
His arms went numb from the impact as he turned around to try and take advantage of the situation quickly, but the floor below him started to fall and he was forced to retreat away from him.
Andrew watched as his opponent pushed himself upward with a sway and a large smile. Blood stained the corner of his smile as he launched towards Andrew once more, the floor around him falling after him.
Andrew used his Axeblades to block the oncoming attack and felt the contact with a large screech that rang out through his surroundings.
Just as Andrew planned to counterattack with his freehand the weilded another axe he was forced back when another stab came from his opponent. Whose eyes gleamed with delight and and eagerness as his arm was extended.
His attack this time will strike nothing but air as he looked at Andrew whose face was covered in an unnatural sheet of calm that seemed to assure his victory. He could tell that Andrew was at a disadvantage, but with the expression of a man with sheer focus. One would not be so sure that either was at a disadvantage, in fact, if one were to choose who did have an advantage most would say Andrew.
"Guess well have too do this the fun way!" Andrews opponent laughed loudly as he slowed down to a stop in front of him.
Unfortunately for him and his plan Andrew wasn't the type of person to wait around for his own demise and certainly wouldn't let up a fight because his opponent wanted to speak. Andrew rushed forward using this opportunity to bend the fight towards his favor.
Swinging downwards on the loud character his opponent was trying to aim to lob his arm off, his goal was cut short as his target blocked his attack with his sword that looked too thin and weak to block such a heavy impact. But regardless of looks Andrews' attack was blocked and he felt his left foot fall beneath him quickly.
BANG!
Andrew used his other axe to steady himself upward with a large boom to the panic of falling down into the abyss. His shoulder that was used to keep himself alive screamed in retaliation as Andrew was lucky that this shoulder was in good condition compared to the other one. Beads of sweat formed on his face as he pushed himself up to a nice steady position.
Andrew racked his brain for a way to land a strike or cause his opponent some harm but his thinking was cut short as he looked upwards to see a sword coming towards his neck at speeds not seen before. He craned his whole body to move out of the way and just barely managed before having to dodge another targeted at his leg.
Andrew knew that he was slower than his enemy so he had to rely on instincts and eyesight too dodge his attacks rather than defend them, which was starting to annoy him heavily.
'Item transport'
Andrew activated one of his favorite spells so far on the mans sword and was rewarded with slowed down attacks from the increased weight Andrew was putting on it. By creating a downforce on the weapon that was a lot heavier than he had originally expected caused his opponent to strain more to attack.
Andrew watched as his opponent launched strike after strike, causing Andrew to dance around like a clown at a childrens birthday party. Looking for the correct opportunity to create his own opening.
The man looked at Andrew with pure excitement that didnt pair so well with the obvious annoyance that flashed through his gaze. He felt that the longer he waited to end the fight against Andrew the lower his chances would be.
Andrew had to be extra cautious of the fight around him as every once in a while a tile from below his feet would fall down into the nothingness below. Which only made his caution worse as he had to keep his eyes in front of him to prevent himself from being stabbed every second.
SWOOSH
Andrew launched an attack as soon as the man's sword receded from his reach, causing a glint of surprise from his enemy. The man hurriedly tilted his sword to block Andrews' attack which was met with the heavy backlash and he was forced down to one knee to prevent any further descent.
Andrew used his free hand to swing at the men's open neck, his body tingled with excitement of the fight ending.
But a lump appeared in his throat and his blood ran cold as he watched the world in front of him slowly rise, one of his legs had slipped through one of the open tiles located sporadically around the room. Feeling his first attack weakened due to the position change, he retreated the first attack slightly. Gritting his teeth Andrew continued with the second swing anyway and was delighted to see it connect.
THUNK
The axeblade lodged itself into the man's side with an audible noise as it connected with what Andrew could only suspect to be his ribcage.
AAAAAAAAAH
The man let out a scream of fury and pain as he lept diagonally to distance himself away as well as to dislodge the axe that was embedded to his side. Blood pooled out like a rushing tide and Andrew reached to push himself out of the whole but he felt his arm connect nothing as his body slowly leaned into the never ending hole.
Andrew grabbed the only tile in reach with both hands as the tile beneath his other leg slowly fell as well. His nails scraped the edge as he felt one of his nails snap off.
Using all of his remaining strength he swung himself up as fast as he could in hopes to get off of that singular tile as fast as he could. Pain took over his hand as blood pooled out where one of his nails would normally be. Looking towards the man whose arm gripped his side that was now dyed red.
His body emitted a sharp green hue as Andrew watched as he slowly turned back into the boy from before, his eyes radiated hatred as he ran towards Andrew once again.
"Oh for fucks sake, whats with you and being a child in a fight." Andrew groaned loudly as he slammed both axes down on the man now child in front of him.
Andrew was soon faced with the answer as his axes struck nothing and his target was still in front of him. It soon dawned on him that his opponent was now a much smaller target compared to before. Allowing him to move quickly and in more dangerous situations easily, which was another advantage he now had.
Andrew didn't mind this at all though and soon kicked the man in front of him with all of his strength. Not expecting the oncoming attack the man clutched his stomach as air was knocked out of him swiftly causing him to gasp.
His body shown an unnatural green again as he swapped back to his original body. Andrew watched this with interest and understanding shown brightly in his eyes as he learned how his opponents spell worked.
'So he can only maintain something if hes unharmed. If i had that spell i could do so much more than just a small trap' Andrew thought for a short moment as he raised his axe to attack once more, this time to hopefully land a more impactful hit. This time he was rewarded heavily with a rolling head across his feet.
