Chapter 13 - Princess Liettha

A few days after the zombie shark appeared. The capital was busy hunting it down, the creature had already appeared for the third time and was unsettling people as there had already been several victims.

The kingdom of Meredhia promised to give a reward if there was a person or group who could kill it. So, the adventurer guilds and people who believe in their combat abilities are trying to find the creature.

Huh, if you don't look for it, it often appears, but when you look for it, it never appears. That's sickening.

I've been trying to track that thing for days and I always end up miserable.

'Hmm... Princess Liettha?' I glanced at her secretly.

We were attending classes at the boring academy. Princess Liettha never speaks or is it just me who never hears her?

I've tried asking the people in this class, and their answers are the same: never.

'Shit! She's so mysterious!'

People of Princess Liettha's type might have a side to them that others don't know about. Quiet people are something to watch out for.

The teacher who taught the class had entered. He walked casually and occasionally threw a smile at the students. What a narcissist! Well, that narcissistic teacher is Professor Rafta. He was a former knight. His swordsmanship can be guaranteed to be quite great.

I didn't like him because of that disgusting smile. I knew it was a fake smile to cover his true identity. He is a depraved man.

I don't care about him, as long as he doesn't bother me, then that's enough.

"You guys don't seem excited?"

The male students replied in a lethargic voice, while the girls were the opposite. They were very enthusiastic.

"I happen to have an interesting game. Would you like to play it?" Professor Rafta smiled slightly. I knew that there was a certain tactic behind his smile.

"What game is it, Professor?" A student raised his right hand, asking.

"You'll find out if you play it!" The narcissistic man's smile grew wider.

All the students agreed.

I can probably guess the game that will be given. Finding a needle in a haystack.

But, before that. I must thank Professor Rafta. In the game we were going to play, was a team game. There were two people on each team. I happen to be on the same team as Princess Liettha.

And the game was to find a pet that said. You bastard! Find your pet, you lazy bastard!

Well, this sucks. Professor Rafta used his authority as a teacher to use us.

At least, that lecherous man will give a reward to the team that finds it.

The search area was Capital and the clue was a Green rock turtle with a sword cut, diagonally across its beautiful and expensive shell.

The turtle with the green shell is a rare monster. Its population was already dwindling due to heavy poaching a few years ago. The hard shell is very good for weapons. The conductivity to magic energy is very good.

The price of the monster now is expensive.

Uh, wait a minute! That's a monster whose speed is very slow. Why did it escape to the Capital? Did someone steal it?

"Princess Liettha. What is our strategy?" I tried asking my teammates.

Ah, I was ignored. She was focused on looking at the blurry paper with the target painted on it that we needed to find.

"Follow me!" said Princess Liettha without emotion. It didn't make a good impression, even though it was the first time I heard her voice directly.

Princess Liettha went to the underground aqueduct close to the academy area. I guess it was the right decision. The green turtle was slow, it couldn't have walked too far. And that creature's habitat is a moist, watery place.

'She doesn't mind being in this disgusting place? Ah, what was I thinking? Even her younger sister likes to wander around in a place like this!'

The whole trip we focused on looking for the turtle. There were no good events. Well, what did I expect? This is how it is to be an extra character. Don't think you can have a relationship with a named character just because you're on the same team.

The aqueduct ended when we arrived at a large filter before the water flowed into the Mefasu river.

"Nothing! Where is that thing?" Princess Liettha was a little frustrated.

"At this rate, we'll have to change places ...."

Ah, I'm going to get involved with the main character event.

*Boom!

A huge wave from outside slammed into the water channel, destroying it. The current was so great, we were almost have been blown away if Princess Liettha hadn't activated the earth element defense magic.

Even so, the rocky earth wall protecting us was almost completely eroded.

I wanted to play the weakling. I was about to cough from drinking so much water.

"I found it!"

Well, I didn't even care. Princess Liettha came out of the water channel to head for the river.

"What irony!"

We found it. Not the green turtle, but the zombie shark.

I came out of the aqueduct through the large hole created by the wave. The water filter was destroyed.

I then watched Princess Liettha. She probably doesn't care about my existence now.

"Umm, a Grimoire? She can use it? Does she also have the talent of a Magia?"

I saw a Grimoire floating near Princess Liettha.

Magia is the name given to a magician who has mastered many magic spells.

The floating Grimoire was not the ordinary Grimoire I had. It wasn't a book for writing down the spells I had acquired. It was a book that wasn't just for storing magic spells. The grimoire that Princess Liettha used could not be purchased. However, one could obtain it if one went to God's Tower.

Many Grimoires would choose their users. Not everyone could become a great Magia and have that special Grimoire.

"Ah, very lucky. She doesn't need to learn magic spells because that Grimoire can cast magic instantly!"

Well, it was indeed like a cheat. But, getting the Grimoire was very difficult.

"I don't need to doubt the named characters."
