Aramis' mother covered her mouth in surprise and gasped those words in a dubious tone. It was apparent that Gavina, Aramis' mother, was exhilarated to see the princess on her doorstep.
Aurnia's embarrassment from awhile ago had totally disappeared when she saw the ecstatic expression planted across her face. She smiled politely and genuinely at his mother while he waited for Aramis to introduce her to his mother.
Aramis sighed in defeat, as if he had expected this scene already. He affectionately kissed her cheeks, and his mother hugged him tightly. "Mama, this is Princess Aurnia." He told his mother in a passive tone while taking a swift glance at her side, "Your Highness, this is my mother, Gavina." He pointed at his smiling mother while he introduced her to his mother.
