The silence in the dining hall that morning was desolate, and tension lurked in the corner; only the clanking of their utensil wares against their plates could be heard reverberating through the room.
"Good morning, everyone!" The girl's voice, who claimed to be her sister yesterday, came out of the door with a wide grin on her face.
"You are late." The infuriated queen told Thalassa when she finally sat down beside Aurnia.
Her sister, whom she had just met yesterday, only shrugged off her shoulder, dismissing the queen's anger.
Aurnia felt her gaze on her, so she turned around and raised her eyebrows at him to non-verbally ask the girl what's with the stare.
"The one you were wearing yesterday and today... Was it a palace decorum for a princess to wear bland, unfashionable dresses? Because if it is, there's no way I'm going to wear these kinds of dresses." She croaked while pointing at her pastel yellow, lacy dress. Thalassa was looking at her as if in disgust.
