The soft breeze of the night blows gently across an array of pink crowns of the cherry blossom trees. A few bright pink leaves fell to the ground where two silhouetted figures were sitting comfortably under one of the trees.
"Hmmm…wasn't it too nice to sit here after being under the watch of prying eyes?" Aurnia whispered softly while her eyes were closed. A few locks of hair went to her face as the cold breeze caressed her.
Aramis saw her slightly shivering from the cold, so he immediately took off his suit and covered her shoulders with it.
Aurnia felt the sudden warmth brought by the suit and opened her eyes only to meet Aramis' intense gaze.
"I have something to confess." She muttered under her breath while locking eyes with him.
It somehow appeared like he was hugging her since his arms were still on her shoulders, facing each other. An intense tension settled into the atmosphere, and despite the cold temperatures outside, she saw beads of sweat forming on his forehead.
