Chapter 387 - Chapter 386 Fisherman

Tiamat sensed a disturbance on a planet with one of the beings. This caused a massive ache for Tiamat.

"Seems like they are trying to speed up the process." Tiamat spoke.

Mira hearing what Tiamat said went to hear Realm.

"Who is speeding up what process?" Mira asked.

"The Shadow People are trying to build a ship on a massively water planet. Most of the people there are fishermen. They usually do not even return to the main land. They just fish and enjoy a trip with friends and family once a ship has been built." Tiamat said.

Mira understood that is where Rex would go next. Tiamat still had an unpleasant feeling about sending him there now.

Still, they being needs to be saved. Tiamat opened a portal and Rex entered. Seeing Mira was a blessing for Rex. He had not seen them in a long time.

"Mira!" Rex hugged her with joy.

Mira just happily hugged him back. Mera sensed the duo and had to come get a hug herself.

"Is there not one for me as well?" Mera shyly asked.

The duo finished their hug. Rex turned towards Mera. With a wave, she instantly darted into Rex's arms.

"Just like ole times." Mera said.

Her tail instantly explaining how she felt. Even Tiamat did not know what to think.

"Blessings come in all shapes and sizes. I wonder how truly big he is in their eyes." Tiamat thought without paying too much attention.

If she were to watch, she would have wanted a hug for her distress. Hoping for the best she tried to keep calm.

Once the hugging was done, Rex turned his attention to Tiamat. She turned her gaze upon Rex.

"There are several Shadow People on the next world. It may not be many at glance but their intelligence and strength are on par with a commander normally. The reason for this is because the next world is mainly a water world.

That world has barely any land and to the people, they mainly fish. The ships they build last against all kinds of weather and breakage. The biggest problem is the Shadow People are starting to figure out how to build a ship now. If they do, everything and everyone will instantly die.

They can just replicate the ship from a shadow and they just massively sent out ships to find and capture everyone.

So you have two choices here. First, you can either fight the Shadow People there. Or second, you can call on Altaua to send the people to the land and fight.

Please make sure the decision you want is the right one." Tiamat said.

Rex was honestly surprised at Tiamat. He had not expected such a weird reaction from her.

"What is the catch are there?" Rex asked.

He knew something was up because of how he had already interacted with Tiamat. This was not how she usually goes.

"My instincts are telling me that something is wrong. I know that my instincts are always right. Please hurry." Tiamat answered.

Rex got a notification.

"Quest Make Tiamat's instincts not be right"

"Reward Tiamat will take a drop of your essence and give you a special Soul Weapon"

Rex was stunned at the Quest. He had heard not of Soul Weapons before. He knew something was truly up with it.

"I guess teleport me to either where I can talk to Atlaua or on a ship." Rex said unable to understand what was going on.

"Okay." Tiamat replied.

She opened a portal for him. Rex entered.

"I hope my instincts are wrong." Tiamat said to the other Goddesses.

"Have your instincts always been right?" Mira asked.

"Of course a Dragon's instincts are almost always correct. The times they are not is when they die." Mera said.

Tiamat just smiled at Mera. Even though Tiamat wanted to curse, she knew that Mera was truthful.

"Be safe."

On the new planet

There was a small little island. Barely big enough for a small hut and a campfire.

Beside the hut was an old time fishing pole, above the fishing pole was a sign. This sign said, 'Fish for Atlaua'.

Rex sat down. He cast the line. He waited for a few minutes before casting the line again. He enjoyed the peace that was there.

On the other side of the island

"A male has come to fish for me?" Altaua wondered.

Only the top of her head could be seen currently. Her hair looked like it had been cut and was tied the color was blue.

"I will entertain him for a bit I guess." Atlaua thought.

She drew grabbed her bow from underneath the island. Pulling the string back, she released an arrow made out of the current water.

Above ground

The arrow pierced through several Shadow People above them. This caused the few to become restless.

"More!" The Shadow People shouted.

They began to hurry even faster. Nothing they were trying to grab would stay in there hands.

"Such is trash!" The highest ranking Shadow Person said.

He was not very high in ranking but his underlings ranking made up for it in the long run.

Most of them had already been super trained in various styles of capturing planets. Even more so than most commanders even know of.

All to them, this was just a simple design flaw that they needed to overcome. The biggest problem was the land mass barely had anything on it.

"It seems like we have to figure out how this planet works." The highest ranking Shadow Person said.

Back below

Atlaua swam through the waters. She was seeing what Rex was actually using. To her surprise he was not using any lore or anything shiny to attract her to him.

Rex was just simply casting a line. She was not pleased with this at all. She needed to check closer on him.

What she found was that there was no chest. No way that any male could be so handsome. His technique was sloppy but was worthy of being a fantastic casual fisherman.

"What do I do?" Atlaua thought.
