Rex kept the fishing line in the water. The serene feeling inside of him continued to increase. It finally reached the point of sleepiness.
"Perhaps, I may take a small nap." Rex said.
He nuzzled the pole in the ground. He laid down and closed his eyes.
As if the cue had been made, Atlaua came out of the water. There were no water drops or even wet steps. She even gently withdrew one drop of blood from Rex's nose.
Her attempt to see why he was there failed. She was not sure why. She lifted her right hand making something rise from the water.
A small fish appeared. The fish and Altaua seemed to talk. After a few minutes, the fish disappeared.
"It seems like my old friend, Tiamat still cares." Altaua said.
She sat beside Rex. Not even caring if he woke up. She had to make sure that Tiamat was indeed the one to help him.
The short nap of Rex's got interrupted when a screech filled the air. This made Rex immediately become alarmed and take a fighting stance.
A large bird landed on the small island. Using its claws to keep it standing there. The ugly black feathers on it made Rex feel like this was a Shadow Creature.
"Who are you?" Rex asked.
The bird gave a cowl.
Rex was about to punch it when a hand landed on his fist. Rex turned to see Altaua, he was genuinely surprised at her appearance.
Her hair now flowed like a river. The blue color seemed to cause his Water Qi to rapidly get stronger. Her blue eyes seemed to cause all friction to end. A kiss to Rex's forehead seemed to drain him of his memories.
"I will go with you. As for my friends, you do have to make them come with you." Altaua said.
A cowl came from the bird. It seemed like the bird was just wanting to go with Altaua. Rex was not sure about where the other one was.
"I will need something to attract whoever your friend is. I do not know if there is any other land spots or if it is in the water." Rex said.
"Just a genuine heart is enough to attract." Altaua said.
Rex just tried to fish and calm his heart. When he did, he found that it was harder than before. It seemed like he was being forced into a spot that he could not escape.
Within a matter of moments, Altaua noticed his heart being swayed.
"I will not hurt you." Altaua said.
The swaying heart seemed to change instantly. This made Altaua gently raise her friend from thr depths. She made sure to allow Rex to catch her.
When the bite was made, Rex tried and tried to pull her out. He felt that the fish had a mind of its own. Secondly, he did not want to hurt the friend of Altaua. He did not use his full strength.
He steadily increased his strength. Fighting the fish to come out and not hurt the fish with his strength. The longer the fight went, the more strength that he unconsciously used.
Finally, he realized he was using his entire strength and the fish was not coming out. He finally turned to the side attempted to just sling the fish to Altaua.
When he did, the fish jumped out instead of being on the line still. This caused the small land mass to suddenly crack.
Within that moment, the bird cowled and screeched at the same time. This caused the land to heal and increase slightly.
Now there was enough land, for the bird to safely out its feet completely down and not be bothered.
With this done, Rex felt that he had just lost the match against the fish. Instead the fish transformed into a little girl.
"DADDY!" The little girl shouted.
Rex was stunned at this revelation. He was not truly ready to hear those words from a fish that he had helped out of the water.
"Please name the girl." Altaua asked.
Rex did not know how to name the little girl. He finally felt that this was a dream and feel backwards. When his head hit the ground. He knew he was not in a dream.
He raised himself back up. He looked at the girl carefully. The girl was on the verge of tears because she was not sure why her father fell backwards.
"Is Daddy alright?" The girl asked.
"He is. He was just shocked to see a beautiful little girl." Altaua said.
Joy sprung from the little girl and this caused the water to shake violently. Not only here but above the surface as well.
On the land mass with the Shadow People
A massive wave seemingly came from the north. Wave after wave seemed to damage the land. This was not good for the Shadow People.
"We cannot leave." The highest ranking Shadow Person said.
Everyone who heard it all knew too well that this was make sure that planets would still come under their control.
"Everyone, it has been a pleasure working with you all. Since we are about to die. Make sure we do not allow the name of Shadow to be harmed." The highest ranking Shadow Person said.
Everyone went and started to build a massive wall. It was not going to be the best wall. It was still going to be good enough to block at least half of the wave incoming.
To their surprise the biggest wave came from the south. With all of the resources going to build the wall on the north.
Most of them, tried to climb the wall. To their astonishment both waves were coming in at once.
"Long live Shadow People!" The crowds cheered.
The waves hit and destroyed the entire land mass. The entire land mass now was under the sea. A new land mass was awaiting to rise up to allow the people of the world to flourish.
