Avarice walked on thick snow, wearing the leather of a yeti in his body as he held himself.
"So cold-"
__
We are giving him too much screen time!
"What"
You heard me!
"We already air- alright."
__
Alicia slept like a baby as she heavily snored in her room, occasionally smiling at certain moments.
"Oh, Derrick, stop it!"
She muttered while moving around the bed.
"Wait? Derrick is not even in this empire, so who's!?"
She opened her eyes and looked at her chest and saw a large-headed girl with a comically tiny body lying there, eyes glittering as she smiled.
"Good evening, Mistress Alicia!" said Shiru with a smile as she dug her head in more whilst staring at Alicia.
"Arch!" Alicia screamed as she jumped off the bed.
Shiru got thrown into the air before slowing down and floating like a balloon "Mistress Alicia, I urge you to calm down. I mean you no harm," Shiru replied as she floated above the air, her voice sounding more childish than before.
"Shiru! Why are you so… small?!"
Alicia asked in confusion at the doll-sized maid.
"This form is more efficient, Mistress,"
Shiru said while giving a thumbs up.
"Efficient in what…lolibatting!?"
Alicia said as she calmed down and recollected the events that happened a few hours ago.
She took a deep breath and asked,
"Can you continue from last time!"
"…Ok"
Shiru said while taking a comically large ID card with her name on it from behind an ear.
"My name is Shiru Bana, manufactured by the goddess Margatroid to assist you in all your needs, including but not limited to teleportation, supplication, education, scouting, and killing, nyaa!"
"Ki- what," Alicia asked, hesitantly glancing at the ID card.
"Nothing, nyaa"
"That is totally not suspicious!" Alicia said with her hand on her hair and eyes closed.
She felt groggy, so she went to the cupboard and took a lemon drink placed on the top before looking at Shiru's form and inquiring,
"How old are you again!?"
"3,141,592,653,58…" Shiru trailed off as she started listing off numbers.
"Pfftttt!"
Alicia spilled the drink and glanced back at Shiru slowly.
"In seconds!!?"
Alicia asked, reaching for a towel.
"Correction, Mistress. Yottaseconds."
Shiru answered while summoning cleaning utensils and several towels, already bending over to clean the spill.
"You are so… old! You're probably older than the entire universe!"
Shiru grins, her two ears quivering, as Alicia glances over her identification card. "All standard information per godly protocol is left on the card if you wish for a textbox to explain my initial capabilities instead of me, created just for you~"
"No worries, I guess. So, you said my mother was like a—God?" Alicia paused before continuing. "Then can I reach her level?"
"Mistress Alicia can do anything she sets her mind to, nyaa!" Shiru said, snapping her hands and causing the utensils and towels to disappear.
A red tint arose on Alicia's cheeks as she asked, "Shiru, can you teach me magic and alchemy?"
"Mistress, say no more!"
Shiru said, flying over to Alicia and bringing out a pen, lifting her hand to write a signature.
<ᛁᚾᚺᛖᚱᛁᛏᚨᚾᚲᛖ>
The signature soon disappeared in light particles.
"What was that!?"
Alicia asked, slowly taking her hand back.
"Machine rune script-! It translates to inheritance."
Shiru answered as she brought out a large book from her pouch.
"Inheritance?" Alicia said, staring at the book as she collected it.
The cover illuminated and showed the phrases
Alicia stared at the front and asked, "Doll-making?"
"Ahh, Golems, I call them dolls."
Shiru answered with her eyes closed as she stroked Alicia's hair.
"Fair…"
Alicia stared at the book for a couple of seconds, almost opening it before stopping and saying, "Not now. There's still some stuff to sort out."
Alicia then prepared herself, taking a couple of hours to dress herself up before leaving the mansion with Alicia by her side, holding a plate of vegetables, beef, and drinks.
"Mistress, you forgot to eat!!!"
Shiru exclaimed in panic, with a stray figure of concern on her face.
"I don't have the appetite right now, later ok!"
Alicia answered, walking to the door before Shiru disappeared and reappeared, bringing a milkshake.
"What about this! You can drink it on the way!"
Shiru said in a panic, worried for their well-being of Alicia.
"I- ok, thank you!"
Alicia took the milkshake from Shiru and drank it before asking, "Can you please make a donut…with chocolate lacing!"
Shiru disappeared, and in a few seconds, she brought a plate of donuts.
"So…quick," Alicia said as she opened the door, clicking a few buttons on it.
A portal materialized where the door was supposed to be, and they both walked through it.
"Mana cores, mana cores, get your mana cores, all at a discount of 5 mid-grade unit cores."
"The empire is lying to us, we are in chaotic times, join the church of order and transcend with our God!!"
"Enlist now and fight for your nation!"
"Ancient artifacts from the Archaic reins! Lose your chance and never get it again!"
"Why is this place so active today!?" Alicia complained as Shiru walked behind her, now in her previous 'taller form.'
"I am ashamed to say this, but I do not know, as I need more time to integrate with this universe's networks. By the start of tomorrow morning, I will be fully connected, Mistress." Shiru states as her child-like eyes glittered with power while waddling beside Alicia.
Soon, the both of them arrived at a dilapidated cottage and entered inside, coming in and crossing through cotton chairs and tables and walking through the back.
On the other side of the back door stood an enormous rainbow-colored bridge floating above the empire as numerous people came from other entrances and went through a massive spatial hole, guarded by multiple imperial officials.
"I will never get used to this!" Alicia said, walking forward and soon reaching the guards.
"Your highness!"
They bowed as they left the path for her. Alicia nodded and passed through, also hearing them say.
"HeadMaid Shiru!"
Confusion appeared on Alicia's face as they greeted them.
"How do they know-!"
"Alicia, you came?!"
Alicia and Shiru appeared in a streak of light, and a woman wearing a purple-green flowery dress and a leafy tiara on her head with blue fireflies floating at her back. She came at them with a welcoming smile.
"Good morning, Genericly! I am here for the dress!?" Alicia asked with a smile as she slightly bowed.
"Oh, darling. I got you, just wait here,"
Genericly went to the back of the store. as Alicia waited and observed the place.
A tree-themed store that housed multi-colored vines that hung from the radiant gold ceiling with small glimmering animals moving around and an artificial pink sun covered with massive curved trees.
Soon, Genericly arrived with a pink flowered-themed dress with blue lines running through it.
"Here it is sweaty… reminds me of when your mother first came to this shop! It's been so long."
Genericly said as she handed over the dress to Alicia, who then gave it to Shiru to hold.
"You knew my mother!?"
Alicia asked with shock as she followed Genericly, who went to a flower shelf.
"Oh yes, wonderful lady that one, and a bit scary if I might add."
Genericly said as she opened a vine curtain, looking at an assortment of dresses before her, shaking her head and closing it.
"Scary? Why so!?"
Alicia asked, blinking as she had a confused expression coming closer to Genericly.
"She answered questions before I even asked them, predicting events before they happened… it was almost like she was omniscient."
Genericly paused as she went to a table made of leaves and picked up a small box, and looked at it with her head tilted.
"She said I should give you this at this exact time… weird… veryly."
Genericly said with her eyes in a trance, as Alicia called out.
"What is it!?"
Alicia uttered with anticipation, looking over Genericly shoulders.
"Oh yes!"
Genericly trod to Alicia, and Shiru reacted and instantly summoned a pillow and a mattress.
[Swip!]
Genericly slowly opened the box, and a ball of light flew out of it to the middle of Alicia's head.
"I'm feeling a bit…diz-"
She fainted as Shiru put the pillow and mattress below her.
