Ivy and Olive continued battling it out. Olive ended up getting pierced badly so many times by the angry Ivy.
Although she also injured Ivy, Ivy's injuries weren't as severe as hers.
"Go and meet your creator," Ivy raised the sword to stab the lady lying on the floor. A dagger coming out of nowhere hit the sword away from her hands before she could stab Olive.
"And what the hell do you guys think you are doing?" The owner of the dagger accompanied by another woman asked in a cold tone.
Ivy stood properly after glaring at Olive. She turned to face where the two ladies stood.
The one who spoke wore black trousers and a blue shirt while the other, who had a softer expression wore a red maxi skirt and a black long-sleeve shirt.
"Leader, Master Clara," Everyone on the field greeted bowing their heads at the same time.
"What is going on here Ivy, Olive?" The one whom they addressed as the leader questioned in a fierce tone.
He turned to face Samuel when none of the two ladies gave him a response.
"And you Samuel, why didn't you stop your best friend from causing a ruckus? You seemed to have enjoyed watching them fight," The leader said in a scolding tone.
"I made no effort to separate them because Olive deserves what she is getting now. She wouldn't have suffered like this if she didn't get Ivy almost killed last night," Samuel spoke without any restraints.
"Olive almost got Ivy killed? What are you talking about?" The one previously addressed as Master Clara asked, sounding confused.
"The three of you," Melissa said and pointed at Samuel, Ivy and Olive.
"Meet me in my office. The others are to return to the training hall. I will tell you what your punishment is for not stopping your seniors from fighting," The leader said as she turned and stared at the fuming Ivy.
She vanished afterwards.
"Let's go answer the Leader's call," Samuel said while looking at Ivy. The four of them vanished only to appear in the leader's office.
The leader's office was simple. The walls were painted grey while the few decors placed at different places in the room were of dark colours.
At the left-hand side of the room stood a bookshelf while on the other stood a stand where varieties of swords in their sheath were kept.
"Melissa, don't be so hard on them today ok," Master Clara said when she saw the way the leader was glaring at all of them.
"It's because you have spoiled them all these years, that is why they turned out like this. If they wanted to exercise their muscles they should have held a contest according to the rules of the Academy but no, they chose to beat each other up," Melissa, the leader of the Academy said her gaze focused on Olive whose wounds had begun healing.
Swords, bow heads and daggers in the Academy were refined from special materials.
When the weapons pierced the body of a vampire or werewolf their wounds won't heal immediately like injuries inflicted by normal weapons.
The wounds caused by these special weapons hurt like hell.
"How about we hold the contest right now…,"
"Don't even think about it Ivy because I won't grant you that after what you did," Melissa said in a firm tone.
"You are being unfair to Ivy," Samuel said in a low tone. His words earned a fierce glance from Melissa.
"Sam Baby don't talk like that to your mum. You know she isn't that way," Clara reprimanded Samuel.
"Ivy, what exactly happened between you and Olive?" Clara took the initiative to find out what was wrong.
"You are not the type to act rashly so what exactly happened to make you have the intention of murdering your friend…,"
"She isn't my friend," Ivy corrected in a fierce tone.
"That is none of our concern, what we want to know is what happened to cause a rift between the two of you," Melissa said.
Since Ivy won't utter a word about the incident, Samuel went ahead to narrate the incident to the two elders.
"You ruin Ivy's weapons in the middle of a mission?" Clara asked in shock.
"How could you do such a thing? Do you know how dire the consequences would have been if Ivy wasn't saved by someone else?" Clara, who had previously pitied Olive seeing how she was wounded by Ivy, said in an angry tone.
"Say something Olive because keeping quiet won't save you," Melissa said in a cold tone.
"All the missions that were mine were given to her. All the important missions have always been given to her, why is it so? Is she better than us?" Olive said the words that have always been on her mind.
"Why is Ivy always given special treatment…,"
"You call sending her on dangerous missions special treatment? Are you even listening to yourself?" Samuel, who couldn't control his anger, spoke up.
"I wasn't talking to you…,"
"I couldn't bear listening to you talking nonsense that is why I spoke," Samuel interrupted her sternly.
"If you think that the missions she was given are a form of special treatment how about you try being a petrol station seller, a bartender, a janitor, a bodyguard, a chef, a mentally ill patient and many more roles Ivy has taken on just so she could complete all the missions given to her. Can you do all that?"
"That is enough Samuel," Melissa stopped him before he could continue challenging Olive on Ivy's behalf.
"Olive, did you think I gave your Hawaii mission to Ivy because I like her more than I like you?" Melissa asked sternly.
"Do you need me to remind you how many times you have failed to accomplish that mission before I gave it to Ivy"?
