This was a little too deep for me. My old man, he was actually the strongest human alive? If this was true then why in the world did he even spend time raising me? Didn't he have work to do? I decided on my choice.
"I wish to join the sudden legion," I said resolving myself.
The master sighed and nodded.
"I respect your decision. But I do hope you be careful. You can lose your life at any time when you are in this squad."
I nodded with a stern face.
"I hereby state, Tony Schleider, you are the newest member of the Southern legion"
I bowed my head instinctively. I didn't show much emotion but I was very proud inside. My dad was actually the strongest human in the universe. He is even stronger than the master. Soon I would meet him and then I could ask him who he really was. He was a legend.
I returned to the moonlight inn. As I was heading there, everyone stared at me. They seemed so curious. I was almost in my room where I could escape all the unnerving attention I got. To be honest, I never liked too much attention. Right before I grabbed the door handle of my room, someone called me.
"Tony!"
It was Nicola. Oh right, now that I think about it, everyone must have been curious about what her squad was as well. She rushed towards me, swimming through the unending gaze of the curious folk.
"Hey, can I talk to you?"
"Sure" I replied bluntly.
"Great!"
I showed her in. As I closed the door, she immediately started talking.
"I heard everything from my aunt. Are you absolutely sure you want to join the Southern legion? How do you even know about it in the first place?"
It seems that Captain Raphael hadn't mentioned my dad to her. I was grateful.
