Chapter 1 - As It was in the beginning

If there was one thing God prided himself on, It was that he never dictates the lives of Others.

For it was believed that the Immortal Supreme could do no wrong or be found lacking in compassion. If someone is worthy of being his servant, they must be of good and pure soul. The immortal Supreme had his faithful servant called the Sprite who were stationed in order of Hierarchy, each according to their level. They were the Chenanim's. These groups of Sprite were the highest in ranking. Then the Mesaphs, and the Lowest of Sprite the Nuanim's. Each of them were accorded their own duties.

For he had created everything Wonderfully well, designing his own mechanisation to be so good after his perfect nature.

He gave them their own freewill, their decisions were theirs to make.

He equally respected those who chose to serve him and those who did not. He gave them the Liberty of freedom.

But then, He realized that he made a terrible mistake. An Aberration, his creations never knew of. It came to his realization that what he had made lacked balance. It was a one sided design. A trait which Angered him greatly.

He was widely known among his faithful servants as an embodiment of Orderliness, Harmony and Beauty. And in order to cover his huge mistake, he made the opposite of everything he created. The very opposite of perfection: An Aberration that does not represent his purified nature. The immortal Supreme knew that things would fall out of order if he did not rectify this error.

After creating a balance on his handiwork, another trouble arose. Since he was the lord supreme of everything pertaining Perfections and purity, he was greatly disturbed on how his immaculate character would preside anomalies like Chaos, death, destruction and its' brothers.

As he stared out over the wide range of the universe, a particular instance pooped in his mind.

Raziel. His Brightest Sprite. A Sprite who was widely known for his Beauty and Intelligence. His most anointed Chenanim.

According to his plans, he had assigned Raziel to be the ruler of hell. He needed his most faithful and trustworthy servant to accomplish such a task. At first, Raziel Almost declined the offer. But due to the fact he was receiving such an order from the lord supreme, he wasted no time doing his biddings.

Thus, The immortal Supreme was able to exert complete supremacy over his perfect creations and the least perfect ones through Raziel, who represented his imperfect flaw. This way, everyone shall follow his orders in all of their duties. They were all bound by their creator's will.

However, Melkaza, one of the celestial Sprites who belonged to the highest group of Sprite, the Chenanim's, became jealous of Raziel. He became enraged at how Raziel developed a close relationship with their Master. The immortal Supreme never disclosed the special task he assigned Raziel to his remaining servants, for he was afraid that they might revolt. So he gave no explanation and he let his servant draw their own conclusion on what had taken place. He regretted that choice now. No matter what people said about him, The immortal Supreme still made mistakes despite his flawless nature. This was his biggest.

Then Melkaza started a rumor around the realm of his master's creation, which sparked a lot of discontent amongst their ranks. For it was rumored that Raziel had betrayed and turned his back against their Master. He spread word that the Almighty Raziel had been punished and Doomed eternally for the sins he committed. The higher ranked servant also said that Raziel was sent to Hell. An eternal place of rest for his waywardness.

The stories the faithful Sprite spread sickened the immortal Supreme , but he could not correct them. He had let Melkaza have his victory, although he felt very awful for the disgrace and shame Raziel received as his sacrifice to his creations. He hoped that his servants did not see his flaws and he tried to conceal his true feelings. He tried to hide his pain behind a happy facade. The immortal Supreme however, took solace in the fact that his perfect creation, his view and Authority in the eyes of others was at least safe and sound.

So the story went on and on for centuries, till the name Raziel, was known for Sin and Betrayal. The other Sprite's believed that he was being punished in an unspeakable way. The rumors got darker and Darker that they felt it was an abomination for him to be accorded such title. He was named many awful names, the ones which included; DarkWeaver, Shadowbeast and many more that were numerous to count.

The very idea was Abhorrent but their Master watched helplessly as his other servant taunted Raziel who began to believe them. He began to believe that he was being punished and cast out of grace by the being he served selflessly.

As much as The immortal Supreme wanted to give a vivid explanation to Raziel as to why he kept quiet all this while, he still remained silent. He wanted Raziel to see how high he placed him above others. He wanted him to know he was chosen, anointed, a beautiful creature whose intelligence surpassed those higher than him. He wanted Raziel to clearly see why he's keeping quiet.

But despite all these, Raziel never saw his master's reason behind that very idea of quietness. Instead, he allowed his instincts to get hold of him. Slowly, this little seed he allowed to grow produced its destructive fruits. Greed, pride, and foolishness.

Looking at how high he was exalted, Raziel saw the need to become the ruler of his master's Creations. His greed made him want to Usurp the celestial throne. His pure soul gradually became corrupted and tinted with a myriad of a thousand sins.

Eternally blessed with Knowledge, and adorned with the highest of intelligence, Raziel was able to deceive many of his Master's Sprite, who believed in the lies Raziel sold to them. And thus they Marched from Hell towards the City of light to dethrone their Master.

Having seen the woeful disobedience and Rebellion of his Servant, His Master decided to teach him a lesson. A one that would be imprinted on the sands of time.

Raziel was defeated and his seal of perfection was taken away from him. Having disarmed him, his Master made an open Spectacle of him. A lesson to be learnt by those who seek to follow the part Raziel had Followed.
