Candy's POV
After I freshened up in the girls room, I was a little worried that Bella wasn't here yet and was about to leave the room in search of her when I saw her coming towards me wearing a sour look on her face. I rushed over to her and asked what the problem was.
She immediately replied saying she was not feeling too well. I suggested she should go to the Clinic and check herself but she assured me that it was a minor issue. I nodded my head at her and quickly helped her to get ready because we were already late for the next class.
Six hours later, I had finished with the notes Bella begged me to update for her before she left as she was not feeling okay and was packing my bag to go home when a girl rushed into the class breathing heavily.
I was a bit frightened and asked what was wrong. She told me in a hasty voice that Bella just collapsed upstairs on the roof. The moment I heard that, I immediately took off to the rooftop and the girl followed behind me hurriedly.
I got there breathing heavily and turned around to ask the girl where Bella was but I was surprised to find nobody behind me. I concluded that maybe she went to get medical help. I decided to look for Bella and help her the best way I can but I searched for her everywhere but couldn't find her.
It was getting late and the girl was not back. i was starting to get scared and decided to go home with the intention of scolding the girl tomorrow for playing such a prank on me.
I was about to leave when I felt a presence and heard someone clear his throat which got me scared and I turned sharply coming face to face with Brian.
Somehow I'm not surprised at seeing him and then I finally realized that maybe he paid the girl to get me up here by this time. I slowly bowed my head as though I was afraid to look him in the eyes.
"Brian if there's anything you want to say to me, save it for tomorrow cause I'm in a hurry to go home" I said and walked away but froze the moment when he said with a low voice "It can't wait Candy, I like you".
