Brian's POV
I got home and immediately got a call from Dad. I ignored him but the calls kept coming and I had to pick it. I answered it and immediately he said in his harshest tone "How dare you flout my orders Brian? Are you insane?".
"Ohh, so your puppet has told you huh?" I said coolly containing my anger. "I can see you've gone crazy. The best thing for you to do is to cancel this camp or you'll regret your actions once...".
I interrupted and said "No Dad, I'm not cancelling that trip and you're not gonna do a fucking thing about it. I'm tired of you telling me how to run my school so please focus on your business over there and leave me alone" I yelled the last statement and cut the call. I immediately switched off my phone and went straight to my room.
I stepped into the bathroom and spent hours there trying to calm down by thinking of the happy times I spent with Mum but I ended up crying. I might act all tough out there but within myself I'm still that little boy that loves his mother so much and the thought of her makes me cry.
Candy's POV
I really don't want to go for this camp but all the students seem happy about it and Bella is hyper excited about it. Three days later she came over to my house, inviting me to go shopping with her and I told her I was not going to the camp. I told her I wanted to travel with my brother to visit my Aunt Kathy, my Dad's only sibling.
Bella looked sad about it and before I could spell Jack, she rushed downstairs to the sitting room to beg my parents to let me come to Camp. Mum and Dad looked surprised and confused because I did not tell them of the trip. I kept quiet and Bella used the opportunity to tell them about it.
They seemed happy about it and I knew what that meant, I'm going for camp. Dad gave me his credit card so I can join Bella for shopping. I tried to protest but Dad said "Don't worry baby girl, you and Simon will travel after you're back from the camp". I had no other option but to go with Bella.
Going out with Bella was so much fun and she helped me get nice clothes suitable for camping. She also got bikinis insisting I get one for myself so I settled for a dark blue bikini with crisscross straps at the back. I felt it was too revealing so I got a black shawl as well. I enjoyed the company of Bella and said so. She looked so pleased and gave me a big hug.
When we finished with our shopping, we went into a Japanese restaurant and ordered a takeout. We both decided to take it home so we did and she slept over at my place that night. I imagined how the trip would go and I really hope that Brian would stay far from me.
On the day of the trip, Bella woke me up with a scream and before I could register what was happening in my head, She grabbed a towel and rushed into the bathroom. I checked the time and I was surprised it was 10am in the morning. I then realized why Bella screamed. I scurried out of bed and quickly arranged my room.
Luckily we packed our bags last night so we didn't have to worry about that. I impatiently waited for her to finish bathing "Candy you're funny you know that. A few days ago, you didn't want to go for this trip but look at you now, feeling all anxious and impatient" I said to myself and chuckled.
Immediately Bella rushed out and I went into the bathroom. A few minutes later I came out and saw Bella seriously looking for something. She looked up at me and said "I can't find my new sneakers" I laughed out loud at the expression on her face. I went down on my knees and brought out the shoes from under the bed "See I kept it safe for you" I said smiling. She smiled back and sat down to wear it.
She was putting on a short black gown which revealed her back. I giggled loudly when she looked at herself, pouting in the mirror. I immediately applied lotion on my body and wore my clothes. I wore a short grey skirt with stars adorning the sides, a white crop top and black sneakers.
We admired each other and rushed downstairs in order to catch a taxi but Mum stopped us on our way out and insisted we ate. We grumpily sat at the table and ate breakfast hurriedly. We finished up quickly and rushed out shouting our appreciations. We waited for a taxi for 15 minutes and we were really frustrated. We finally got one and he drove off.
Brian's POV
It's been ten minutes past 12pm and neither Candy nor her friend is here yet. The students are ready to go but I delayed the cause of her. "If she's not coming, then I'll just cancel this trip" I said inwardly to myself. I was about losing hope when a cab drove into the school premises and Candy came down from it. I was immediately charmed by her beauty.
She wore a simple makeup on her face but she looks like a model and the clothes on her body fit her so perfectly bringing out her curves and adorning her beauty. Our eyes met and I looked away. I walked into the luxury bus which would convey us to the Island. I sat at the back and I'm going to make sure she sits close to me.
A girl tried to seat beside me but I gave her a dreadful glare and she scurried away muttering an apology. Soon Candy and Bella walked into the bus and I could tell that they both caught the attention of everyone. All seats were occupied and Bella rushed to seat in front and the only available seat was the one beside me.
Candy knew she had no choice but she looked reluctant to seat beside me. I knew all she needed was a push so I said to her in an authoritative voice "Come seat here". She rolled her eyes and ignored me.
Everyone heard when I said that to her and I didn't want to look like a weak guy so I pulled her and she immediately sat on the seat. She looked furious but I smirked at her and let go of her hand.
