Candy's POV
I turned sharply at the sound of his voice and stared at him unbelievably. I was grateful he came and said sarcastically to Bella "I guess I don't need the drink anymore" I walked back to my seat relieved.
I felt like quitting the game but what happened now made me excited and I wanted to see the end of it all but I noticed something, all the girls looked excited to see Brian and were not doing much to hide their excitement.
Immediately a girl stood up and asked Brian with fear evident in her voice if he was joining the game. He stared at her for a while before nodding his head. She looked happy and though she was still scared she asked him "Truth or dare".
He glanced at me and chose dare. She smiled shyly and asked him to allow her to sit on his laps. There was a moment of silence as we waited for him to accept or reject the dare but he stood up, went back to his tent and we were all confused at what was going on and why he left when he suddenly emerged with a bigger bottle of strong alcohol, walked to his seat and took two shots of the drink with his eyes closed.
When he opened his eyes, I was surprised at how reddish it was. "I'll drink from only this bottle if I fail to do a dare, I don't want to get sick or infected from drinking cheap tequila. If you don't agree with my terms, I'll just go back to my beauty rest" he suddenly said without any emotions in his eyes.
His eyes were still red and I could tell it was because of the drink. I am not good at identifying brands of alcohol but I could tell he was holding an expensive whiskey in his hand.
Everyone was dumbstruck at his words and I had to clear my throat to get their attention "How about we play another game, it's very simple and fun as well. We need some sheets of paper to play it".
I stopped and looked at their faces and they looked interested so I continued grinning "We hold the paper and passed it round from one person to the other with our lips. Don't let it drop during exchange or whatever happens is at your own risk. Is it clear?" They nodded and looked excited.
"Now sit beside an opposite gender and let's start the game". As they were arranging theirselves, I rushed into my tent and came out with some clean sheets of paper. I sat in between Bella and Matt, a guy from the senior grade and he was making me uncomfortable with his eyes.
I searched for Brian with my eyes and saw that he was sited not far from me, in fact he was sited on my right after Matt and the girl who dared him. I was somewhat nervous and hoped that the duo in-between him and I does not fail.
Shortly the game started from a dark girl at my left and she passed it carefully with her lips. The paper kept going round until it got to me and I carefully gave it to the boy besides me without letting it drop. It got to Brian and he hesitated, looked at me intently before taking the paper from her and passed it to another girl.
The moment he took the paper from the girl, I felt somewhat pained but I ignored my feelings and concentrated on the game. We had a lot of rounds with a lot of students failing and leaving before the unimaginable happened, the duo in-between I and Brian failed and left, closing the gap between us.
My heart started beating immediately and I felt so nervous but I controlled myself "Nothing to worry about, it's just a game and you're good at it. Just don't fail to give him the paper" I advised myself.
The game started again and soon it got to Bella and I took it from her with trembling lips. I turned to Brian and I nervously moved towards him with the paper. He was looking at me intently but I couldn't read any expression on his face. I closed my eyes and took the paper closer to him.
I felt his breath on my face and just as he was about to collect the paper, it fell off my lips and his incredibly soft lips landed directly on mine. I was shocked and opened my eyes wide only to see his beautiful pair of eyes staring back at me and I immediately pulled away.
I touched my lips out of shock, that was my first kiss and I just lost it to him of all people. Everyone was screaming at the top of their voices out of excitement when he asked softly "Are you okay? I'm sorry about that". I just looked at him, stood up and ran off. "Candy wait!" he yelled and followed me.
