Chapter 3 - Chapter 2

"Here we go again," said Louise as he rolled his eyes. Mum had a tired expression on her face. "You know why you can't darling," she said.

"No I don't mum. I don't understand why I can't go outside. I don't understand why I can't go to school like other wolves and I don't understand why I can't go outside but my brothers can. I also don't understand why you keep my powers secret."

Mother had a sorry look on her face. "I'm sorry my child but you will know when the time is right." After she said that, she left the room with grandma and Henry, leaving me with my brothers.

"Why do you always have to bring that up when you know it upsets mum." Kaden asked.

"Why does she always leave without answering," I answered. Louise came forward and said, "I think you should listen to her and just wait."

"You're my brothers; you should be backing me up on this." Kaden smiled and replied with, "And she is our mother, she comes before you. Sorry sister." I slowly shook my head and stomped up to my room.

I slammed the door when I got inside, "Oh my goodness. You should be more careful, I almost got a heart attack." I turned towards the voice and saw Mary who I consider as my second mother. She has been with me for as long as I can remember and has blonde hair which is always tied up in a bun. She also has blue eyes and a small figure. "I'm sorry Mary," I apologised. She left the clothes she was arranging and asked, "What's the matter child? It's not every day you see a beautiful princess slam her own door." I looked down sorrowfully, "It's mother," I replied. "She's not answering my questions." I paused and said, "Again."

"You just have to be patient," Mary replied. I looked at her in suspicion, "You know mother told me the same thing. Are you hiding something?" She looked away and said, " Its just a coincidence and I don't know anything." She went back to arranging my clothes. "Mary, I know you. You can't look me in the eye and lie." "That's not true," Mary said. "Now let me finish my work."

"Algontel." I said as I pointed my finger towards the clothes. They arranged themselves in my closet. "There. Done. Now where were we?" I asked her, smiling.

She smiled and said, "Okay but if someone asks you, you don't know anything. Okay?" "Okay." I replied.

"Do you see your brothers practicing magic?" She asked. I shook my head and replied, "We all have different times to practice, right?" "No." I replied. "You are the special one among your entire family and pack. There is no one like you and no one will ever be like you. Do your brothers have your kind of hair?" "No." "You are not allowed to go out because nobody.."

Knock Knock Knock

"Noo," I groaned.

Mary opened the door and I smiled as I saw him. He smiled back and said, "Hello love." He's my first true love. "Hey father." I replied. "Would you excuse us Mary?" My dad asked. "Of course your majesty." She replied before bowing and leaving the room.

"How are you?" "I'm fine dad." I replied.

"I heard you had another argument with your mum today," He said. "Yeah," I replied, frowning. "I just don't get why I can't go outside." "I'm sorry my dear. I wish I could do something about it but I can't." He replied.

"That's the problem dad," I said. "You can do something, everything but you choose not to." "I'm sorry," father said.

"Dad I'm tired of these words you always say to me, I want to be alone please." "Okay, I love you," he said after he kissed my forehead.

After he left, I couldn't think of anything but one thing. Running away. "Stop thinking of that," Said Emily. "Father will be very upset." "Emily, I'm doing this, what do you want me to do? We have been here for the past 20 years and we still don't know anything." I replied. "I know what to do, I already have a plan." "I already know, It's a pretty good plan I have to admit. But Kate will kill us."Emily said.

"Kate, I need you," I said through the pack's link. "Bregdan le suf," I chanted as my clothes arranged by themselves in a box. I heard a knock on my door who I knew was Kate. I opened the door and let her in. "What do you need? Is everything alright?" She asked. "Never been better. I learnt a new spell and I wanted to try it out on you?"

"Really? What is it about?" She asked excitedly. "You'll see," I replied.

"Asede le pere a sumudan," I chanted. I heard Kate gasp, "You look just like me," She exclaimed. "Cool, isn't it?"

I looked at my reflection in the mirror. I learnt this spell with great difficulty. I still haven't mastered it yet which means I have a few hours before the spell wears off. I looked at Kate and said, "Seleganto." I waved my hands in her direction. "What is happening?" She asked as she yawned. She slowly lied down on the floor and went to sleep.

"We should get going before the spell wears off," Warned Emily. "Yeah," I replied. I picked my box and left.
