Ricky left clues all throughout the Red Forest before he left the temple.
It was done so that, even if the terrain altered, he could still find his way to the camp.
They easily navigated inside the forest thanks to Ricky's knowledge and Hachi's keen sense of smell.
Hachi is a newly tamed pet by Catherine. It's basically a cute golden brown dog.
After three days of walking, he finally reached his target.
"A human hasn't been here in a very long time."
A little wooden home was hidden among the dense plantation.
In front of the house, a man with a brown complexion and large ears turned to face Ricky.
" Blood Elf."
" Yeah. You are a human, and I am a blood elf. Did you get lost in the red forest? But that can't be the case because of how far you come."
"Escort. I arrived in search of you."
He didn't wander off.
To find this mysterious elf, Ricky had purposefully gone across the woodland.
The blood elf's eyes grew wider.
"Me? Hmm... That is peculiar. It is typical for those who have just arrived at the red forest to be unaware that I'm an escort here. I'm curious whether you have a unique talent. Or perhaps you simply arrived here using your senses."
He glanced at Ricky before putting his shoulders back.
He had no business caring about that.
His job was to simply guide people, hence his name, the Guide.
"The best way to save time is to do this."
The location of the forest was only known to this blood elf.
Ricky had little time to wait for any coincidences, unlike the former owner of the Personification of Death class who just happened to find the cliff.
His answer was the escort.
The escort would be able to guide Ricky to that cliff easily and fast as possible.
"Well, given what you know about me, shouldn't you also be aware of the rules?"
"Are you referring to the three bets?"
He responded as if it were no problem for him.
Many people in the past were successful in locating the Escort, who dwelt in the heart of the forest.
Usually, they would stumble into him while wandering around or becoming lost inside the forest.
The Escort's existence was widely known in Tir.
"Oh! you truly are pretty knowledgeable. That's correct. I'll guide you anyplace you want to go if you can win one of the three bets I offer. Ah, I mean only within the starting point and the red forest as in anywhere."
That meant he may also be led to the other starting point if he so desired.
Every starting point was connected to the vast forest.
There was no requirement to visit another starting point, though.
In any case, there is no need to go to another starting point, when they get through the warp, eventually, all the remaining survivors in different starting points will cross paths.
The actual contest would then begin.
The best, though, varied every time.
He was only able to adjust to the following situations.
The Escort looked at Ricky and stated, "It's fantastic that you're so open-minded. Should we then begin hunting? Whoever captures a "Dwarf Mice," which is found throughout the forest, first will win. The cut-off will be at midnight."
"Isn't that a good advantage to you?"
I'll begin six hours after you.
The Escort spoke fluidly.
He gave out a winning aura and seemed unbeatable.
He was a natural at hunting.
One of the few predators that hunted during day and night was this one.
Although it was currently daytime, he would be able to see clearly in the dark due to the traits of any elves. As quickly as he could, he had to catch the mice.
I have to take advantage of his cool-headed demeanor.
Ricky nodded his head and began to move.
Ricky had intended to locate it before then because he said he would begin six hours later.
Even though it inhabits the entire forest, as its name suggests, it was only about the size of a thumb.
Hunting them would be extremely challenging unless one possessed amazing vision and hearing.
Yet Ricky was aware of the preferred foods for the dwarf mice.
" The egg of a blue cockroach is the favorite meal of dwarf mice."
It was simple.
He used to catch a number of them for assassinations in the past.
These mice were great for information warfare because they were swift and little.

Ricky looked for the blue cockroach's habitat and started a fire.
He extracted the cockroach's eggs after they became disoriented.
Then, he set up a straightforward trap and waited for dwarf mice to appear.
'Now.'
Thud!
Approximately two hours later, cowardly dwarf mice approached the eggs slowly.
He seized the opportunity and threw the grass-woven basket to the ground.
The mice had been successfully captured by him.
He waited the necessary six hours and then went back to the Escort.
The Guide trembled and opened his eyes widely as he arrived.
