Chapter 32 - Acknowledgment

If he insisted on telling him about his name, there was no reason for him to decline.

However, climbing the cliff was more crucial.

Whoosh!

Ricky was hit by ferocious winds.

He clung to the cliff's edge precariously like a trembling branch.

The only thing Ricky confirms when torturing Thanatos is that getting the Personification of Death Class is to climb the Cliff of Despair and kill the five Guardians.

Ricky, of course, had no way of knowing the techniques the prior owner of this secret class had applied.

He raised his stats as high as he could for that reason. to get ready for anything.

Caww!

A Sword Drill Bee aimed its pointed drill at Ricky's back.

Ricky instantly chopped its drill in half with Terror.

Ricky's senses were strengthened by the increased Agility.

It was easy to take care of a bee that made noises while charging at its victim.

However, ten Sword Drill Bees charged at him as soon as one of them is killed, seemingly out of retaliation for their fallen colleague.

"I never intended to evade from the start."

There was nothing more savage than killing them so Ricky chose a confrontation head-on.

He intended to smash through every barrier and make a direct climb of the cliff.

He inhaled deeply, drew himself up against the cliff, and raised Terror.

How high did he climb?

His head's crown was brushed by the clouds.

"I'm nearly there."

His entire physique was in complete shambles.

He would have sustained some deadly wounds if it weren't for the leather armor he got for breaking the hunting record.

A snake wrapped around his body and almost killed him.

Although Ricky didn't find these occurrences particularly strange, some would have assumed he was nuts and had lost his mind.

As part of his training regimen in the past, climbing an infinite cliff is nothing.

"A Red Orc"

He soon puts an end to his thinking as he climbs to the cliff's summit and looks around.

The summit's center included a solitary cave.

Additionally, a red-skinned orc was stationed at the cave's entrance to serve as a guard.

Even though it appeared to be one of the Guardians, it felt unusual.

His body had a fighting aura!

His stature and tempered muscles gave off the impression that he was born to fight.

Kurururok?

Ricky caught the Red Orc's attention.

"Bring it at me."

Kukgurok!

Ricky points his finger vital spot of the Red Orc.

Kururukk!

The Red Orc reached for his large axe and charged at Ricky.

He dislocated his shoulder.

Ricky underestimated the Red Orc's actual physical strength.

He would have been unable to prevail if it had turned into a struggle of strength.

He completely seized his victory thanks to his superb abilities.

Stab!

Terror began to soak up the blood as he stabbed the Red Orc's corpse in its stomach.

He was able to somewhat replenish his depleted stamina with this technique, although it was a short-term solution.

However, Ricky began to move right away.

Kegehgek!

A " Swift Goblin" was his next foe.

He was as swift as his name suggested.

He used his poisoned blade to aim for Ricky's neck.

Sadly, the pairing didn't work.

The best assassin in the past was Ricky. He was able to foresee the Swift Goblin's every action.

It took five minutes to end the fight.

"I'm going crazy over this,"

Ricky was undoubtedly the winner.

He killed the Swift Goblin, yet he moaned.

He had poison in his leg.

He should have avoided it without a doubt, but the dagger grew longer and cut his leg.

He was entirely to blame.

But every battle with a Guardian left him wounded.

It appeared to be prearranged.

It seemed like every Guardian required a wound to be inflicted upon the challenger.

{ You have climbed the Cliff of Despair and defeated the last Guardian. }

Ricky kept moving.

It would take another five days to eliminate the residual poison, but he was short on time.

The more injuries he sustained, the rougher his acts would be.

He lost control, much like a wild animal in the jungle.

He eventually succeeded in finding the last Guardian.

Huff! Huff!

He looked at the pieces of what had once been a great serpent, panting hard.

" I think I'm dying."

His skin appeared deathly pale.

He was unable to exert any force with his fingers.

That's how heated the fight was.

In a battle for life or death, he just barely prevailed.

Ricky fell backward to the ground.

It appeared that he had overexerted himself.

Perhaps there was a better way to go about it.

Because there was no time limit and just one Guardian per bout.

Maybe he could have won more easily if he had taken his time.

Ricky, though, tenaciously fought his way through.

He launched a frontal assault and destroyed everything.

It was a vicious frontal attack, in all honesty.

" I can become much stronger when I overcome adversity."

He had no other method of strengthening himself except to push himself to the utmost.

The present Ricky would continue on this route even if someone graciously taught him a different approach.

He knew it was risky to push himself in this way, but he was convinced that if he could survive it, he would make progress in his development.

I have endured this time and will continue to do so.

Ricky bites his lips.

This is the only way to force himself not to pass out.

Live your ideal life while achieving your objectives!

It wasn't long until his eyesight blurred.

{ You climb the Cliff of Despair and defeated the Five Guardians within a day. }

{ You accomplished another impossible feat, the Order of Lugh will give you a special reward. }

{ The Supreme Evil is examining you. }

{ The King of Underworld acknowledges you. }
