It's been three days since we arrived at Vale, three days of me being overly paranoid about Ozpin.
Every time I saw even the smallest part of him, I would change directions and avoid him at all times.
Was it cowardly of me to do so? Yes.
But my instincts never failed me yet, so I can't let my guard down for even a second. Speaking of which, I was in the courtyard with Blake.
Currently, I was hiding in the trees, since Ozpin was walking around the courtyard. With his signature mug filled with coffee.
While Blake was running around trying to find me, she was too distracted from finding me, she ended up bumping into him.
"Ow... o-oh I-I'm sorry headmaster." Seeing who she bumped into, she quickly stood up and bowed, quivering in fear that she might be scolded.
Only for him to chuckle and rub his hand in between her ears, then turned towards where I was hiding and waved.
I froze as he waved at me and left without saying a word, leaving me and Blake alone in the courtyard.
I was then tackled to the floor by Blake, who began to rub her face on my chest. I only rubbed her head as well, causing her to giggle.
"I found you, Aiko!" She was happy that she found me, since we were playing hide and seek.
While Sienna and Ilia were close by, making sure no one got too close to us. Once Blake calmed down, I got up and smiled.
"Yes. You got me Blake, you win." I then began to tickle her with my hands, causing her to laugh and to giggle.
"Stop it, that's not fair." She squealed, trying to squirm her way out of my arms.
However, what many people didn't know, I had my family around us, placing me in an illusion.
Where I look like I'm in disguise, I'm actually tickling Blake with my tails. She began to swat them away, but they always coiled and tickled her.
"T-that's not f-fair, y-your cheating!" She laughed, I only smiled and continued to do so.
"Okay, that's enough you two, Aiko, let her go." I only pouted, but did as Sienna asked, Blake then jumped up and ran behind her.
"You cheater, I'm telling mom about this." I stuck out my tongue and pulled down my eye, blowing a rasberry.
Blake ended up doing the same thing, Sienna could only sigh and shake her head.
"Kids these days…" She then smiled and grabbed Blake by the back of her collar, while she pulled out Cerberus whip and used it to catch me.
"That's enough you two, we're going back inside." Hearing this, both me and Blake shook out of her grip and sprinted in opposite direction.
We both didn't want to enter the academy, not wanting to face the horrors we had suffered through.
THREE DAYS AGO
As the four of us followed our way inside, Ozpin was giving us a tour around the academy.
"First off, is the cafeteria, where most of the students come by for lunch." Inside, there were some students talking to one another, laughing and enjoying the food.
Soon, a group of girls noticed us and squealed in delight. Me and Blake stiffed at the screaming and began to run.
"Come back, we just want to feel your cute fluffy ears!" One of them shouted, running behind us.
"We do not consent to your request!" We shouted while running down the halls.
TWO DAYS AGO
Blake and I were with Glynda in the library, Blake was reading a book about Grimm, while I was reading a book about the dust that this world has.
While reading, I felt someone touching my ears, they twitched, telling the person to stop. Only for the hand to come back and rub my ear again.
"Can you sto-!" Mid-way I stopped speaking, staring at another group of girls, their eyes had hearts, and some held combs and brushes.
Seeing the girls with the combs in their hands, I stood up and brushed my pants. Removing any dust, I then closed the book and placed it back on the shelf.
Once doing so, I broke in a sprint to get away from the girls that were now chasing me. They soon began to chase me, some with scissors in their hands, others, with make-up kits.
"Don't run, we just want to have a talk with you!" The same girl that spoke tried to reach my head, only to be kicked by an invisible force.
Colliding with the group of girls that were following me, I took the chance to run away before they could try and chase me again.
YEASTERDAY
I was outside, my mother next to me with a koto. Plucking the strings to create a soothing melody, I was taking a small nap to enjoy the sunny weather.
The warmth was just right, there was a bit of a breeze, and the silence was nice.
"Wait, when did it become silent?" I opened my eyes, only for my pupil to dialate. Above me, was a large group of girls, all with combs, brushes, and make-up.
"AHHHHHHHH-!"
PRESANT
Both me and Blake were on a tree, shivering in fear to face the group. Sienna and Ilia were underneath us, staring at us and trying to convince us to come down.
"Look, Ozpin has them locked in their rooms, they won't bother us!" Sienna shouted, both me and Blake shook our heads.
Sienna grumbled for a few seconds, but then turned to Ilia. As the two of them had their small conversation, me and Blake stared at one another.
"Do you think they'll try to bribe us?" Blake asked, I nodded my head and smiled.
"Yup, that means we can try to ask for something." We then looked down at Sienna and Ilia.
"What'll it take for you two to come down?" Sienna asked, her hands on her hips.
"Ice cream!" The both of us shouted.
"Really?" Sienna raised one of her brows, unimpressed and tired from our antics
"Yes, we want ice cream!" Blake replied, Sienna pinched the bridge of her nose, but then pulled out her scroll.
"Just… just give me a minute." Both me and Blake celebrated silently, finally going out of the academy.
"You do know that the head master will assign someone to guard us right? Most likely a student?" Hearing this, both me and Blake froze.
Only to see Sienna come back and looked annoyed, we both knew this wasn't going to end well.
"Bad news, we're only allowed to go for the ice cream, nothing else." We didn't mind that at all, since we did want ice cream.
"Even worse news, we're having Glynda guide us." Hearing this, our ears laid flat at our mood became depressing.
"But she's so strict!" Blake whined, pouting at the memory when we arrived.
FLASH BACK
The four of us were following the professor to our assigned room, me and Blake awed at the large structure as we got closer.
"As you know, we are a prestigious academy, and we must set an example, thus you will abide by our rules." She began to speak, me and Blake rolled our eyes silently, since we weren't used to being monitored.
"You are free to roam anywhere within the academy, but if you wish to go to the city, you must first contact the headmaster." She then arrived at one of the dorms.
"This is your dorm for the time being, as you can see here, each one is equipped with a lock mechanism that will only be open with your scrolls." She then held her scroll up to the lock, and the sound of the lock clicking was heard.
"And one more thing, lights out is at nine pm, so make sure to return by then. Are we clear?"
FLASHBACK END
The four of us were by the docks, and the time was close to seven. Me and Blake were playing rock paper scissors to pass the time while we waited.
Soon, the sound of heels clicking against stone was heard, looking back, we could see Glynda in her original attire, with her riding crop in hand.
I was confused on why her weapon was a riding crop, but I then turned to Blake, who was blushing and covering her eyes.
"L-lewd." Was all she said before receiving a chop from me.
"You owe me thirty lien now." I looked at her with a deadpan look.
"Bwha?!" Blake looked at me in shock, her eyes forming tears.
"I told you to not read those books, and what did you do?" Blake slumped forward, looking at the ground.
"Not to read those books…"
"Not to read those books, just…" I then looked at Glynda, who was talking to Sienna.
"…Don't say anything about it, okay?" I whispered to her, Blake nodded and began to calm down, reciting a mantra for herself.
"Now then, let us depart before it gets to dark, I do not wish for any harm for you two." Glynda spoke to us, staring at us with a sharp gaze.
As soon as she finished, a bullhead arrived and we boarded it as soon as the doors opened.
"Hurry up, the nearest ice cream shop has strawberry flavor!" Sienna and ilia chuckled at Blake's shouting and entered.
Glynda on the other hand was unamused at our excitement and raised her weapon, activating her semblance.
Purple hue began to glow around our bodies, lifting us and forcing us back in front of her.
"Need I remind you the rules when we are outside?" She asked with her eyes narrowed.
"No ma'am." Both me and Blake replied while looking at the floor, not wanting her to see our annoyance.
"Good, now off we go." Her heels clicking against the metal, with me and Blake floating behind her.
"At least let us walk." Blake pleaded, only to receive a cold glance from Glynda.
I then joined Blake, widening our eyes to beg her to release us. After all, a woman can't resist to make a child happy, however, Glynda was stubborn.
So we gave up and waited for the bullhead to arrive at Vale, luckily, we were allowed to walk once we arrived.
As soon as we landed, we were forced to stick close to Glynda since she didn't want us to run around through the city and get lost.
We just went to an ice cream shop that wasn't racist, and left quickly when we got our ice cream.
"Hmm~ hmm~ hmmmm~!" Blake hummed happily as she licked her strawberry flavored ice cream, while I had cookies and cream.
"Are you happy now?" Glynda asked us, holding her own ice cream, but she showed a frown.
"Yes, yes we are." We both replied, making our way back to the docks to catch the next bullhead, but before we got far from the shop, I bumped into someone.
Two splats were heard, and the person I bumped into froze. I looked down and saw my sweet, delicious, frozen treat on the ground.
Next to mine was another, with a mix of vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate. It wasn't hard to know what flavor it was, a Neapolitan flavored ice cream.
Looking up, I saw a girl with a brown jacket and a green skirt. Her hair was brown and was reaching her shoulders, and finally her eyes were brown.
She too was looking at her ice cream, tears threatened to spill from her eyes, I began to panic and looked behind me.
Only to see Glynda, Sienna, Ilia, and Blake were no where to be found. Leaving me alone with this girl who looked like she was in high school.
"I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to spill your ice cream!" I panicked, tears fell from her cheek as she silently sobbed.
'Why do I have to feel like an asshole!?' I mentally shouted, I decided to grab the girls hand, dragging her back to the ice cream shop I came from.
"I can buy you another one." Hearing this, the girl looked at me, tilting her head while her eyes showed curiosity.
She then pulled out her scroll, typing on it a few times, she then spun it around, letting me see what she wrote.
"Really? Will you buy me a new one?" Seeing that she is mute, I just smiled and nodded my head and guided her to the store.
"Ah, I forgot to ask your name." I turned to look at her and she smiled and began to type once again.
"My name is Trivia, Trivia Vanilla."
