Chereads / Love Is Obsession / Chapter 10 - Chapter 10

Chapter 10 - Chapter 10

Instead of being angry that I was being rude, Liam smiled happily when he saw me agreeing to his request. All right, I complied with his request. Besides, I've never been to a night market, let alone a date with my boyfriend and ex.

They all always take me to romantic places for the upper class, spend together the two of them that I always ignore, and get bored quickly. Honestly, so far no one has been able to bind my heart with sincere love. They always looked at me from my beautiful physique.

Starting from the ideal body, beautiful, smooth, and without the slightest flaw. But they are all too stupid to believe in my deceptive appearance, even though I have a heartache that is hard to forget.

I left Liam alone in the living room and went into the room to get ready. It suddenly crossed my mind to disgust Liam and feel embarrassed when walking with me. I can't imagine, I came down and showed myself, then he refused to leave. Looks interesting, I thought happily.

For the first time, I will wear heavy makeup for an urgent mission. I had to do it to deter Liam and stay away from me forever. In a black dress above the knee, I curled my hair. I know Liam doesn't like curly hair and this mission has to succeed. I rushed into Aunt Chelsea's room and stealthily stole the make-up that she used to apply to her face.

Thankfully, Aunt Chelsea was in the bathroom. My hands immediately rubbed on the face, lips, and eyes slowly. No matter what happened next, it was all over in an instant. When I saw my twin reflection in the mirror, I didn't recognize myself. I laughed a little at the mirror. I happily descended the stairs, standing in front of Liam and he was startled to death.

"Why are you looking at me like that? I must be beautiful." I spun around holding my dress. Liam gave a small smile, hiding a laugh, then seriously spoke.

"You're ready. We're leaving now!"

"Wait a minute," I shouted. I squinted and thought.

So my plan failed miserably? Why isn't Liam angry or disgusted to see me? Isn't he ashamed of how I look now? If you look around, my make-up is very embarrassing. Thick red lipstick, black eyeliner, and shadow-filled my eyelids, a very bad look. Now it's my turn not to be Chelsea leaving the house looking like this. Really can't.

But if I refuse or turn to the bathroom to wipe it off, Liam must be thinking the wrong thing, if I'm deliberately pranking him.

Take a deep breath. Damn, this is the name of the master's eating gun.

"What are we waiting for? I think we're ready." He drags my hand quickly.

I can only leave a message to my security guard that I am leaving, about Aunt Chelsea I can call later that I will be home as soon as possible.

Hmm. If Aunt Chelsea saw me dressed like this, she would be furious. I've been wearing adult make-up that's inappropriate for a teenager like me. Liam handed me a helmet for me to put on.

We have arrived at the night market. I looked left and right. Honestly, it's the first time I've visited a place like this so many people came to express their happiness. I'm attracted to the atmosphere because it looks fun.

Many play areas do not exist anywhere else. I slowly walked through the welcoming gate and the strange looks of several people managed to greet me.

Everyone looked at me in surprise and I immediately felt awkward. I grabbed Liam's arm who was walking leisurely, then I stopped his steps.

"I don't want to go in Liam."

"Why not?"

The question succeeded in making me unable to move. It's all my fault if I hadn't acted stupid and reckless, I would have been able to enjoy the fun atmosphere of the night market. I looked left and right, looking for the toilet to remove my minor make-up. Why are there no toilets? Silently, I watched the merchant in the corner.

My eyes stared intently at a small child holding a long stick, eating a very large lump of cotton with a pink color. The food looked so tempting that the little boy bought another one.

"You want cotton candy?"

I turned my head. So Liam was watching me all this time? I kept quiet, didn't nod.

"Wait here, don't go anywhere! I'm going there to buy it." he made me sit in the area of the circus tent performing a performance not far from me.

"Yes! I said briefly.

Liam sprinted towards the cotton candy vendor. I sat alone looking around me. Suddenly a group of small children brought toy water guns and shouted at me.

"Ugly clown... Ugly clown..." he shouted at the same time as he shot water in my face until the makeup I was wearing melted.

"Stop! I'm not a clown." I covered my face which was hit by the spray of water. My shirt was almost completely soaked, but gunshot after shot didn't stop hitting me.

"Shoot that clown again. Push him!" shouted one of the small children. They pushed me to the ground on the wet grass.

"Stop brats!" I said angrily. Both of my eyes were difficult to open due to the pain, the attack of the water hit my shadow and eyeliner until they melted. My lips itch so much that I can't help but scratch harder.

I can't see myself now. In my heart, there is a feeling of regret for wearing this make-up. I unconsciously shed tears even though it was not visible due to more water on my face. Only this time I was humiliated by many people.

Seconds later, Liam came to chase the whole bunch of naughty kids away. He panicked to find me covering my face with my hands.

"What happened, Alea? Are you okay?" He opened my hand that was covering my face and swallowed hard when I saw I was disheveled like this.

Melted black make-up filled my face and even worse, the red lipstick made my lips itch and slightly swollen. Unknowingly, tears continued to flow down my cheeks.

"Wait here a moment,"
