In the morning the storm had subsided and the fire was already extinguished. Andrew walked over to the faded sofa to wake Cat. Andrew on the one hand
"Mary, you must wake up, the storm has already passed. We must go back," he said.
Cat had heard him, but was having trouble getting out of bed, however. She had a headache. Andrew realized she was sweating as Andrew took a step or two over to her. He immediately brought his hand to her forehead. The young girl was on fever. "Mary, you're on Fever," said Andrew. Before Cat had a chance to protest, he hugged her. Cat seemed to say something, but she couldn't afford it.
After Andrew mounted the young girl on his horse, he rode right behind her and galloped towards the mansion. The young girl was ecstatic, her head resting on Andrew's chest. After half an hour's journey, Andrew had managed to reach the mansion. Seeing the horseman galloping towards them, the servant was waiting to hold the horse by the head. Andrew quickly dismounted, took the girl in his arms and went inside. "Call a doctor immediately," he shouted to the servants at the same time. Ian ran out the kitchen door. Instead of taking the young girl to her room, Andrew took her to an upstairs guest room. Rose was right behind them.
"Get the room ready now," he said to Rose.
Opening the door with one leg, Andrew gently laid the girl with a high fever on the bed.
Rose said, "We were worried about you when my lord didn't come last night. The men could not go out into the field because of the storm and fog." Said.
Andrew said, "Rose I'm fine, fortunately, Mary soon appeared before me, but she must have gotten wet from the rain and is now sick. You bring her new clothes and take care of her."
Rose had known Andrew since he was a child, but he had never seen him more worried than he is today. Rose quickly left the room. Andrew and Cat were alone in the room. Cat lay unconscious, her black hair scattered on the bed. Andrew held out his hand to touch her pale face for a moment, but withdrew it before he could touch her. Meanwhile, Rose entered the room with a bowl of water in her hand and clean clothes. When Andrew saw her, he took a few steps away from the bed. As Rose began to untie the strings of the young girl's dress, Andrew's gaze was momentarily caught on her white neck, but he quickly turned around.
He said, "I'm in my room, get the tub ready when you're done," and left the room hastily.
A few hours later the doctor from town treated Cat, prescribed some medicine and left. Although Andrew took special care of the girl's health, he was careful not to enter the room where the young girl was sleeping.
In the morning Cat woke up with a headache. She was very thirsty and when he reached out to get herself a glass of water, she noticed that his hand was shaking. Although she showed a large anchor to reach the water at her head, a great noise filled the room when she suddenly dropped the glass to the ground. At that moment, the door opened.
Andrew, who had been up earlier than usual that morning, burst into the room with the noise he heard as he passed the girl's room. Andrew broke the silence as the young girl and Andrew looked at each other with puzzled eyes.
" I heard a voice"
Cat embarrassed and intensely
"I-I wanted to drink water," he said. Andrew cast a glance at the broken glass on the floor.
"Don't tire yourself, doctor said you need to rest for a few days, I'll tell you Rose will take care of you"
Cat blinked in surprise. She had been sick many times before, but this was the first time she had been treated with such care. As Andrew closed the door, Cat realized where she was. It was in a large room with a huge bed. Plus, the pillows were as soft as feathers. Cat happily sank deeper into the bed. She felt like a princess. It was like in a dream. Then she suddenly remembered why she was there. "Stupid Cat, you mustn't get carried away and never be influenced by him." Mr. Andrew was the kindest and most handsome man Cat had ever seen in her life. But Cat was aware of everything. She had learned a lot with Lori. One of them was that noble gentlemen like Mr. Andrew liked noble women. Girls like her could only be their maids. Mr. Andrew just took pity on him.
Cat got angry at herself at the thought of the ridiculous dreams she had and punched the pillow. At this time, the door opened. Rose:
"Mary, you look healthier this morning, I brought you something to eat. Lord Andrew is very interested in you," she said.
Cat sensed the hint in the last sentence. "She was buried between the pillows, blushing and said, "Thank you. Rose." Said. "Mr. Andrew is such a nice person, he only cares about me because he feels indebted." Rose gave her a look as if she wanted to hear more, and she had to make up a lie. "Well, there was an accident and my father was injured while rescuing Mr. Andrew. Mr. Andrew promised my father before he died that he would take my responsibility." He said this, using a tearful tone to increase his believability as he said it. Cat had to earn not just Andrew's trust, but her employees' trust. Rose said, "I'm sorry, child, the Duke is a good man. Good thing you're under his protection. He said, "God protect you, what would happen to a beautiful lady like you?" Rose dropped the tray and left the room. Cat was sure this story would spread soon. Although she was still tired, he was in a good mood.
